My car purchasing experience was great. However, I've been there twice for servicing and I feel there's room for improvement in that department. The Pros: Customer service is excellent and they do a good job with vehicle maintenance and service. The Cons: Their prices are a little on the high side. Secondly, making an appointment doesn't mean your car gets serviced at the scheduled time. On my first visit, it I spent almost 5 hours waiting for an oil change and basic maintenance service. I was told it was due to fewer available mechanics on Saturdays. So for my secind visit, I went in on a Monday. I arrived at 10.20am for a 10.30am appointment. They finsihed at 1.25pm. It appears to me it's on a first come, first served basis. Nevertheless, the agents do tell you when you arrive that it'll take 2-3 hours. I just think this is an area that management needs to improve to better serve customers. That said, if you drop off your vehicle and pick up later, then this shouldn't be a problem for you. I've been to places where making an appointment means your vehicle gets serviced within a few minutes of the scheduled time once you arrive on time.
I bought used car Ford Fiesta 2012 SE with very reasonable price compared to other dealerships Calgary. It was absolutely straightforward to understand used car buying process at this car dealership, Alex Abel; he was very helpful and answered all of my questions and requests Engine Bay Cleanup, Car oil refill, winter tires, Carfax history and dashboard alarm system. Even after buying the car, he still response my questions kindly and provide me with wonderful after-sales service support. I’m satisfied with their customer service, and I highly recommend visit them if you have plan to buy used car or new car.
Northland Kia is the best in Calgary! I had such a smooth experience buying my first car at this dealership - shoutout to Matt who helped me pick a car, he was easy to get along with and was quickly available to answer my questions - thank you! And shoutout the managers and to Laurie who helped with the financial side of things, she was very patient and informative! Such a fantastic team.
Had an amazing car buying experience with Alex! He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and patient while he walked me through the process step by step. He wasn’t pushy at all, but instead helped guide me into making the best decision for me. Plus, he actually made this experience fun! He still stays in contact with me to ensure I am happy with my vehicle. Matt Tumolva helped set us up in a new vehicle for our family, and the process with him was amazing. I don't know that I ever need to find a different resource for our vehicles in the future as we will continue to utilize Matt, and know that he understands our needs as a family and what we are looking for, as well as finding us the most cost effective options and ensuring we know all the details. Aside from that, he is just really chill and easy to work with. Thank you again Matt!! So much!
My first time ever financing a car and I'm glad that Kia was my first and only stop on the way. I walked in and was greeted by Josh right away, who within minutes of asking me what I'd be interested in, pulled up the perfect option for me in the driveway. The whole thing only took a few hours and I was very impressed that the sales and finance teams, were just as excited for me as I was. Courtney and Laurie were a big help in finishing up all my papers so that I'd be able to get into my new car that day! I'm new at this stuff as a young adult with a lot of "firsts" to get out of the way, but having Josh help me out made it such a stress free and fun experience for myself. I would recommend this place to anyone! Especially young adults who need a reliable vehicle that won't put them out of pocket. Thanks to everyone at Kia for making owning a car a possibility for me! You guys rock!
Thanks to everyone at a Northland Kia. Great service, great experience and just an overall fun time buying a new car. I went all over the city and took multiple cars for a test drive, but every one was stressful or lacking in something until I came across Matt salesman and the Stinger car. Test drive was a great experience with a fun young man. He was patient with all of my questions and I’m satisfied that I purchased the right car. He’s still patient and helpful with accessories and add ons. Kudos to Courtney in the business office as well, paperwork is never fun, but she took the sting out of it with her friendliness and conversation. Hoping any future interactions with the service department are equally great.
Went in on a Saturday to test drive a vehicle, and ended the day owning said vehicle : Tells you everything you need to know about Northland Kia! Matt, who sold me the vehicle, was a joy to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle of interest, and wasn't pushy in the slightest. He and Darren, the Sales Manager at the dealership, have been very accommodating on numerous occasions since taking possession of the vehicle, answering my incessant questions without hesitation, via text and meeting me in person. Finally, Courtney has been an absolute joy to work with, explaining every detail of the purchase, including all options I may have wanted again, without being pushy. The entire process operated like a well-oiled machine, and I look forward to brining the vehicle back here for regular maintenance. I have no doubt the staff and crew will take care of me for years to come. Highly recommended.
I Just bought a Kia Rio 5. First time For a brand new car. The sales staff were very friendly, easy to work with, and helped me get the car I wanted in the colour I wanted. I am very happy! Update My second service cost me over 400 dollars. What the hell did I pay for?
Had a great experience in challenging times with our purchase of a 2023 Kia Forte. Daren Eade was very good to deal with. After ordering the car knowing that it would take a number of months to show up we received it on the estimated availability month. I always felt dealt with honestly and openly. Ultimately I got a great car at a fair price and in as timely a manner as was possible!
