Lovely park, really nice mini cabins, beautiful lake. Highly recommend!
Nice park to take family to. Lots of homes and boats out. Clean. The water is very clean compared to most. Lots of trees for shade on hot days. Grills are already on Lake. It was very calm and pleasant.
I first time winter camping. Spent New Years weekend at campground it was awesome but, never plowed out after we got here and there was 3-4 inches on the ground also path to outhouse needed shovel and outhouse needed pumped. Would so stay here again!
Its a wonderful state park I have ever seen. Trails are well maintained and so thriling. Wild nature and so amazing. The woods are safe. Lake shore is clean and water is crystal clear!! Sitting here during sunset would calm the soul!!!
Higgins is one of the best state parks for families. It is clean and a little on the smaller side. The bathrooms are cleaned daily. The cabins are great when you don't have a camper, but can't sleep well in a tent. The beach is sandy. The swim area is shallow, perfect for kids. Plenty of room for boating.
Gorgeous, as always! Plenty of room on the beach, so you don't feel crowded. Refreshing spring water!
The beach was great for my young kids. Shallow and clean. Campground was beautiful and quiet. My family of 7 had a lovely trip.
