We are a small friendly library with access to thousands of books and other media through our participation in the Mid-Hudson Library System. Come on over!
Welcome to the North Chatham Free Library, located in the charming, historic hamlet of North Chatham. Since we opened in 1915, the library has been a gathering place for members of the community. We sponsor diverse programs throughout the year for all ages. The library maintains collections of books, books on CD and DVDs, computers, a printer and a fax for public use. With your library card, you are a member of the Mid-Hudson library system, so besides having access to the collections of 66 other libraries, you can also use downloadable audios, e-Books, and online databases. Come and visit us. Your library card is a path from this lovely hamlet to the global community and back again.
The mission of the North Chatham Free Library is to provide a collection of books and other materials and offer a wide variety of programs for all ages. Our goal is to provide the best possible library services for inspiration, recreation and education.
