Norfolk General Hospital

Our stepfather was recently treated here. As a visitor the parking was easy and affordable. The people/team have been very friendly and helpful. The coffee shop and cafeteria have nice healthy options plus a nice place to sit for a break.nThanks to all the workers and health care teams

My 3 yr daughter had a fall and we visited this ER service in Simcoe. To our surprise there was no one ahead of us thanks to management of nurses and doctors there. Triage Nurse was so helpful to understand her injury and followed by this wonderful lady “Brittney” who was absolutely wonderful with my little daughter during her stay in ER and the procedures. She was so playful that it helped my daughter to forget the pain and co operate with nurse and doctors.nnI wish any other Nurses and staff wonderful like these one at other Hospitals.nnThank you Norfolk Gerneral Hospital Emergency services and spl Brittney

Don’t bother - go to a walk in clinic instead. Arrived at 5AM to the ER ghost town, not another soul in sight until 615AM when another walk in arrived bc I woke w difficulty breathing and needed a throat swab to confirm strep and prescribed antibiotics a 10 min job, but still had to wait over four hours despite no one else being in the ER AT ALL, let alone needing help/higher priority until an ambulance arrived at 630am, and then I ended up giving up and leaving when I checked in and was told that three more urgent charts were ahead of me still, so it would still be at least 90mins if no one else more urgent showed up.nnTLDR; Despite arriving to a ghost town ER at 5AM 90 mins before anyone else AT ALL needing help, still had to wait over four hours. Gave up when it was clear it would be at least another 2 hour wait if no one else came in during those 2 hours and was placed ahead of me.

If you’re going to emergency, you’re better off driving to Hagersville or Brantford. The waiting time at this hospital is unthinkable. The staff is friendly but most of the time I get sent home with no actual solution. Angrily writing this review because it’s been AN HOUR and haven’t even seen triage yet with only 3 people infront of me.

Had gallbladder surgery on Saturday. Went perfect. I had such a perfect and professional team it made this journey as nice as possible. Thanks to everyone on my team Simply the Best!!
