First time at NFC, such a wonderful experience!nJen was great at my exam. Highly recommend changing your optometrist! Katie was so down to earth. Jenna went over the top to help me find my sunglasses. We have a 5 week old and everyone was over the moon helpful with us. I travelled from Norwich for the service and I sure did get top notch! I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at this clinic. I sought new glasses due to the rave reviews I had heard.nnI have significant eye issues, so glasses are crucial to me. During my visit last spring, I selected a frame and met with a technician. She reviewed my current prescription but could not confirm if it was for progressive lenses. Consequently, she provided two pricing options: one for progressive lenses and one for regular lenses. The progressive lenses were priced at approximately $1000, which I could not afford. The technician then offered to sell me regular lenses, which I accepted.nnAfter wearing the lenses for a day or two, I discovered that my vision was too blurry. I promptly contacted the clinic, but they were unwilling to take any action.nnThis situation escalated to Christmas 2025, when I attempted to wear the lenses again for a few days without success. I visited the store again and met with Lisa, the manager. She informed me that the computer notes did not match my description, implying that I was either exaggerating or lying. I assure you that this is not the case; there was a clear miscommunication during my initial appointment.nnLisa attempted to sell me new frames, despite the fact that the glasses had never been worn for more than a few days. She also priced out new progressive lenses at over $600, offering a small discount. I am unable to comprehend why the initial technician would allow me to purchase a lens that she knew would not be suitable for me. Why would they permit me to leave the store, drive home, and continue wearing lenses that do not meet my needs?nnI will never return to this clinic. I was not only misled by the original technician but also failed to receive the correct lenses from the so-called manager.nnI am not concerned with the opinions of other reviewers. I entered the clinic in a polite and eager manner, seeking new glasses. It is evident that the clinic prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction.nnUPDATE-I was contacted by Dr Craig from the Port Dover office and he was very willing to make the situation right. Along with himself and Janelle I now have the glasses I so desperately need. Janelle was a pleasure to work with, very patient and always returned my voicemails.nThank you so much Dr Craig and Janelle for taking care of my vision.
My Family and I have been going to Norfolk Family Eye Care for many years. The staff and eye doctors are all friendly and amazing. Wide selection of glasses and sunglasses too. Best place in Norfolk County to go too.
First time going after my previous doc retired. Facility is clean and modern with ample parking. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Doctor Ryan listened to what I had to say and was very thorough and clear in her explanations. I am very glad I chose Norfolk Family Eyecare!
My daughter and partner have both received excellent and efficient care with the Norfolk Family Eye care group. I have been with the same eye doctor for decades, so transferring was not an easy decision, particularly because my eyes have special needs. Today I had my first appointment with Dr Katie Ryan who was not only very pleasant in nature, but extremely competent and went over my eye history thoroughly. The staff are very knowledgeable when helping you pick frames and everyone I had interaction with, went above and beyond. I felt so very well cared for at Norfolk Family Eye Care.
