The whole place is well decorated and our server was polite and helpful. However the food was kind of mediocre and didn’t taste very authentic. The ramen noodles didn’t have the consistency that I was used to from other restaurants and the egg had a funny texture. The broths were all pretty similar despite ordering three different soups for the ramen. However, the price isn’t too bad.
TLDR: Foods amazing. Service as well. Will be returning. I had the seared tuna. Which they served sliced very lovely and plated well. It was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Also had the salmon eggs nigiri. Which was incredible. The rice was well seasoned. Really good rice! The eggs were amazing as well though!! Marinated to perfection! I also had a bowl of their Pho which was also very good. My dining companion had the wonton noodles. BIG portions here for the price. Which I didn't complain about. : The waitress was very kind and attentive 5/5! One of the chefs even spent a few minutes enlightening me on how he got the salmon roe to taste so good. lol Awesome little spot and one of my favorites in St.john's now.
By far one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in St. John’s, my miso chicken ramen was super flavorful and our Sushi combo had very fresh, tasty maki, sashimi and nigiri. The pork dumplings were killer and the overall service was enjoyable and friendly. Would recommend 100%
First and last time eating at Noodle Nami. My wife found a hair in her stir fry, which ruined our appetite, but the way it was handled ruined our entire experience. Her stir fry wasn’t good to begin with. The beef was spongy, and the sauce tasted terrible. When we found the hair, the waitress was not phased, didn’t apologize, just scooped away her food and took it off the bill. I couldn’t eat mine after and asked her to take it away but was still charged for the food I did not eat. The waitress said that’s the policy it’s all she can do. No manager came to apologize or try to make it right. It was a totally awful experience. We will never be back.
The best Asian restaurant in Newfoundland so far. The portion is very generous for the price compared to other Chinese restaurants in town Food tastes very good. The DanDan noodles is excellent. Lots of noodles. I just wish they give more vegetables for that. The soup is kinda salty for my taste but I guess it's because I don't season my food much
Delicious food, large portions, and fantastic service. We had philadelphia rolls and tonkotsu ramen that was served within minutes of having our order taken. Can't wait to try more on their menu!
This place is absolutely amazing!! I tried their stir-fry noodles, gyoza and their veg California roll!! All of it was so good, especially the gyoza, we ordered a second round of it!! Along with the food, the place is extremely well decorated. I loved the little salad that came in at the beginning and the lemon water with the food was cherry on top. I would love to come here again!!
I can't really comment on the atmosphere, as I was there for takeout, but the food is amazing and the service I received was great too! This was my first time having ramen and it won't be my last, nor will it be my last visit to Noodle Nami. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Noodle nami is the best place to have sushi and ramen! Love their service so much! Their employees behaviour are nice too! One of their assistant chef Aman, He is the nicest person i have met! His behaviour is so kind and humble also his service is best too!
This is the second time we’ve went to noodle nami with a very sour waitress. The first time, we thought maybe they might’ve been too busy or had a rough day so we let it slide. This time, they didn’t even hesitate to speak to us in a rude tone and rolled their eyes at us which was very disheartening. What a way to ruin the festive spirit.
