Noodle and Dumpling

Great no-frills spot for affordable Chinese food. Not much seating, but good for small groups for dine in. Dumplings are homemade on the spot and the fillings are juicy and flavourful. It seemed like only one person was cooking in the kitchen, but everything came out in a timely manner despite being crowded! Will definitely be back!

The price to quality ratio is simply unreal. This place is definitely worth revisiting and even as a daily visit option! The beef noodle soup is easily one of the best I've ever had and the taste is incredibly authentic. Best place in town for homemade noodles and dumplings in my opinion.Food: 5/5

A classic mom and pop shop. The aesthetics aren’t the greatest but the food 100% makes up for it. I’ve been coming since before the pandemic and I’m so glad this restaurant survived! The pork stuffed buns and the beef noodle soup are my favourites. The noodles and dough are made in house and you can taste the difference. While you wait for food you can watch the man stuff and roll your dumplings fresh.

I visit this Chinese restaurant twice. The noodle is chewy enough to make it really good. The broth is great and the braised pork is tender as it seems. The most important thing is the price is not expensive compared to its portion.

Ordered pan fried buns, pan fried pork dumplings and scallion pancakes to share as an after hike lunch meal. There’s only one person working but you can catch a glimpse of him hand rolling the dumplings. Be careful eating as it can be very hot and messy. The fillings were well seasoned. I found the scallion pancakes underwhelming but overall a great meal. The prices were relatively the same as a year ago so no changes. The place does take card payments. We did have a little hiccup with calling it was always “user busy” but we sorted that out in person.

A Very very nice little restaurant! The owners were unbelievably friendly and easy going: The dumplings are so so good! Especially baozi was the best one that I have ever had since came to Canada. Thank you!!! I will come by every time I visit Hamilton if they are open.

Good soup at a low price. The people who work here are really nice. The kimchi is delicious. Dumplings are homemade and cooked to order.

Good dumplings for a quick snack, I was hoping this would be a cheap eat place for a quick snack but 9$ for the dumplings and they hardly filled me up. The dumplings themselves were alright, nothings too delicious.

Delicious dumplings - best we have had in Hamilton! We had the crispy pork dumpling and the crispy beef dumpling - both were delicious we thought the pork one was ridiculously amazing. We also tired the chicken wonton soup very good and the beef noodle soup which was nice. The dumplings were definitely the stars. We will get takeout again for sure. The chef owner is also very friendly.

This is the place you can taste real hand-made and delicious northern Chinese noodle. Best among all three Chinese noodle shop in Hamilton I have tried.
