Had the taco pizza and Bruschetta. The pizza was merely ok but by no fault of the restaurant. I had large aspirations and was expecting something different. The service staff was surprisingly young and incredibly on the mark. I was very impressed by the crew of hard working young ladies working so cohesively and with high energy. I would definitely give this place another try next time I'm in town.
I would have given them 6 stars if I could. Roberto, the owner, was amazing! We were trying to find someone to cater my daughter’s wedding. I had talked to him previously but when we went into the restaurant to sample the food he came to our table and treated us just like family. He made up a special sampling of his most popular items just for us. I truly felt like we were sitting around the table in his kitchen. Everything was delicious from the pretzels with artichoke dip and cheese curds and pizza bubbles to the lemon Sicilian chicken and the cheese tortellini in Rosa sauce. And then there were the meatballs and chicken Alfredo and lasagna and… The iced tea was even delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I thought we were going to have to be rolled out of the restaurant!
The food was delicious and the server was amazing and considerate as my family wanted only vegetarian dishes!
Omg best dinner ever....was worth the wait....went on Saturday night so a little wait but all in all was excellent.. had spaghetti w/ meatballs. Hubby had lasagna. Pizza looks fabulous we haven't had yet.
Who would think that you'd go to a little strip mall next to a Tractor Supply for incredible Italian food? Our party of four was surprised to see a line almost out the door when we arrived for a Sunday evening dinner. It was beautiful weather so we waited at some tables outside. We were told 15 minutes and their estimation was accurate. Once seated our waitress seemed to lack the pleasantries, even to the point of sounding a bit abrasive, but we know how hard it is to maintain good staff levels recently, so we just rolled with it. We started with appetizers of bruchetta and a warm pretzel with spinach dip. The pretzels were gone, so we were asked if we'd substitute for tortilla chips which we did. The bruchetta came already heaped onto the pieces of bread and it was absolutely delicious. The spinach dip was SO cheesey that it would leave stringers when you dipped, but could have used some more spinach... and tortilla chips... we asked for a few more chips after eating what was brought but was told by our waitress that she'd charge us for another appetizer to get us a few more chips. Instead I had her get a container so we could take the rest of the dip home. Main course time! The Chicken Parmesan was also top notch with two generous chicken breasts and a flavorful marinara that tasted fresh enough to have been made at the table. The two pasta dishes that the ladies got were also great, one with an alfredo sauce and one with the same marinara that came on the chicken parmesan. Then came the surprise of the weekend... the Stromboli. I split my order with my friend to get half his Stromboli, and I'm not regretting that decision! The Stromboli wasn't prepared the way that I prefer, sealed and puffed up from the steam and juices but it was SO GOOD! My buddies comment about the flavor going all the way through the crust would be the most accurate. The crust was incredibly flavorful, lightly garlic buttered, crispy, yet light and bready... it's hard to actually describe, but it had us both contemplating calling this the best Stromboli either of us have ever been served. The waitress even gave my friend a surprised look as if to say "you've never been here before" when he ordered the Large size Stromboli. Needless to say, we ended up taking multiple boxes of food home when we finally finished with the cannoli. The service was okay, the price was good, and portions were generous, and food was INCREDIBLE!!! Half the conversation on the long ride back was about how good that meal was... from all four of us! Highly recommended!
A very friendly waitress greeted us, and took our order. The pizza bubbles were light and pillowy, and covered with freshly grated parmesan cheese. The sausage parmesan sandwich was 1/2 pound of homemade Italian sausage that I remember eating as a kid, flavorful tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese that stretched for awhile. The onion rings and french fries had a very tasty coating that reminds me of food fried in olive oil. Very light and crunchy. The cannolis were extremely delicious. A light, creamy and sweetened ricotta filling with the right amount of chocolate chips.
We were seated by hostess at a busy area where our waiter had a large group to take care of. We didn't get waited on in a timely manner. Others came in after us, got seated, and waited on before we were greeted, getting their orders before we got greeted. After we complained to the hostess, she stepped up to the plate and got our drinks and helped our waiter. The food was great, especially the western cheese soup. Prices were right in line with what we ordered. Would recommend this place to everyone. YUM!
The best pizza around. Oh my goodness the brischetta Burger was amazing amazing I do have to say loved it loved it was one of the best burgers I've ever had made to perfection. I would absolutely love to see it as a permanent add on to the menu. I also absolutely love the staff here I've never had a bad encounter with any of the employees all are absolutely fabulous. Kid-friendliness: This pace is absolutely family friendly. Parking: Absolutely huge parking lot if you can't find somewhere to park here I don't know what to say, and plenty of handicap parking for those who need it.
Chicken Alfredo tasted like fish. Was cold in spots a d could tell by outside rim of dish that a microwave was involved. Waiter never asked or came back until it was check time. I told him it was only warm in the middle and tasted like fish. Our other couple had said the same thing. Absolutely no response from waiter. Chicken in dish...not what I expected...thin strips
First time here, loved it! Portions are generous, service is outstanding. Young servers, hustling and friendly. Special praise for the busser, he thanked us for supplying him dirty dishes. And, even better, the food was excellent. We enjoyed everything about our evening at Nanno's.
