Nikkos Koney Kitchen

Good Coney Island Restaurant food however it is a little pricey. The menu is sure to have something for everyone. Went there many times with the work mates for lunch, but never came away with less than a $10 bill for lunch. Even a salad is high. It's good food and good service, but you will pay for it.

I've given this place 3-4 chances and it just isn't cutting it. Nikkos is nothing more than a cheap-modern design in Pontiac (claims to be Auburn Hills to attract business lunch rush in the AH area). It is a wanna-be upscale coney island, but in doing so, only contains overpriced simple food, which does not include any sides such as fries, a salad, or even hasbrowns with their "meals". You don't get what you pay for, and the food is at best, mediocre. Quality is not great, and the servers are another story. I have only had one server there who was kind, without an attitude, and did not try shoving all of her weight into the tight leggings, which apparently is the dress code for this establishment. Not very appropriate if trying to be better than mediocre. The servers hover behind, and tend to gossip about tables who had recently left, very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place, not worth it. Find somewhere else that has decency and respectable.

It's good food but I'm still in receipt shock that my fries were more than $5. I sort of expect coney islands to have better prices on sides and appetizers- especially when the waitress says "Would you like fries with that as well?". The fries cost almost as much as the burger. Other than that the restaurant is nice and clean. Very sleek and modern interior for a place that sells diner food.

The food was good, and the waitress was very nice. We didn't have to wait long at all. Will definitely go back.

Good food, broad menu friendly waitstaf. Attentive without being pushy. Reasonable prices, good easy access parking. We particularly enjoy their breakfast.
