Nicollet Cafe

New discovery. Everyone was welcomed with a friendly greeting by the staff. The wait time was short at the time of our visit. We were quickly seated. SERVICE: Excellent. Very attentive staff. Each new party that entered the restaurant were greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner. Our waitress was quick with taking our order and came back several times to ensure the coffee was topped off. FOOD: The food was good. Fairly standard breakfast foods. The pancakes were large in size, not dry, and had good flavor. I enjoyed that Bacon and sausage links too. ATMOSPHERE: Clean seating area. A combination of booths and tables. Decor on the walls including a section devoted to cats. Overall a great little restaurant. I will go back.

Great food! Great service! Great people! Enjoyed visiting with Nestlé Sengal who owns the restaurant with husband Al. When the food is great and the owner is gracious and attentive it makes you want to go back. Driving back through St. Peter from a visit to Sioux Falls we stopped again hoping to have dinner there. We found out that the restaurant closes at 3pm weekdays and stays open for dinner Friday and Saturday nights. We'll worth a return visit!

The food was great! Even my child, who usually doesn't eat much ate almost all of his meal. We had breakfast and will be going back. Our server was so nice, friendly and prompt. The food came out fast.Food: 5/5

Hearty helpings and great coffee. The skillet I ordered could have used a little additional seasoning it was a little bland even after adding sausage gravy. Overall good experience definitely would still return!

Cute spot - we stopped for lunch on a Sunday on our way back to the Twin Cities. Had the hot meatloaf sandwich and the fajita chicken wrap. Staff were super friendly! We would stop again!

Great food and service, very good menu selections and good specials

The staff here really make a meal special. The food was good... But, the servers!! Just wonderful, friendly, fast, and attentive. I highly recommend this café!
