Was in town working for a day. Decided I would go here for a burger. Was told the food was good, but the staff were a**holes. I can confirm they are. Went in and up to the till to order. After 2 minutes another man came up to the till, walked in front of me and waited at the till. 3 minutes after that, the chef FINALLY sees people at the till and calls the waitress. She then comes out and serves her regular customer first. Finally turns to me and asks what I want. At this point I said, "Nah never mind. Here before this guy and you serve him first. Guess you really don't need my business." And started walking out. The snark waitress then goes "Well if you'd just let him pay first..." and I interrupted "if you'd serve the person who was there first and wants to order so you can start making his food then take the next guys payment there wouldn't be issues." So basically, if your from out of town they don't want your money. They can make it by on the scraps of the locals.

Loved this place!!! We arrived as a hockey team with parents. The service was fast and friendly, the food tasted great and was served in a very reasonable amount of time. The seperate billing and payment was fast and efficient. All around a fantastic experience, well done!

The waitress and cook were welcoming and friendly. I ordered take-out and had a cheeseburger and fries with gravy, and it all tasted fresh and delicious. It's a great place to eat in this small town, and I wouldn't hesitate to order from here again next time I'm in Nakusp. Thanks!
