The staff is super friendly and tentative. My coffee cup was never empty and the double pork chop plate was awesome. If you are looking for REAL home-cooked breakfast, Nick's is a must. Nick’s is a fixture in Galewood and has been foe about 11 years now. It has very decent Mexican and American diner food, and quite a big selection of it. It is clean, the service is fast and very friendly; great spot for a quick, unfussy meal in the neighborhood. Not a “bring her on a first date” kind of place, but very consistent and reliable, plus decent prices and big portions. I’m very fond of it.

I tried this spot for the first time. The place is nicely decorated and very clean. Got a table right away. Breakfast was good, fast and reasonable. Staff is very nice.

Great portions, tastes fantastic, staff is friendly as all heck. There is Chilaquiles Verde. Salsa Verde has nice heat and light tang from the tomatillos.

I'm so happy I stumbled upon Nick's Grill. Googled a Mexican place near me and I decided to try it and so happy I did!.I had the chilequiles with Carne asada and it was fantastic! Staff very friendly and it was made to order. Definitely will be going back!!

Great little hole in the wall. Delicious food handmade. Open kitchen aspect so you can watch your food getting cooked. Reminded me of an old time diner. Staff was amazing daughter11 month old was getting fussy so the waited waitress brought us a cup of soup while we waited on our food. I WILL be going back several times.
