Newark Garden Hotel

We stay a couple or three times a year on biz travel. On a budget and this is value for money. Its an Older property and is being upgraded. Great Value. Safe hotel, very clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. Indoor Pool. Hot Breakfast. Happy Days❗

Very nice hotel. Very good buffet breakfast and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The entire staff were very friendly. Only unpositive thing would be you can hear the people in the adjoining room very well. No sound proofing in walls. One small negative and lots of positives. I would stay there again

The service was awesome and the rooms were very clean, the new owners did an amazing job re doing the place. only down I can say is the bathroom was a little small but the shower had great pressure and really helped relax my back after a 13hr drive. I would recommend the newark garden hotel to anyone looking for an affordable clean place to stay.

Clean and comfortable. Heating is slow but eventually effective. Since I have family in a near-by town, I will be staying there again.

We were in town for a family funeral, just before Christmas. It was cold and snowy on arrival. Ugh! This is the only hotel in town and it is out of another hotel era. Several family members stayed there. Pros: comfy beds, hot water, new towels, soft sheets, warm duvet, new vanity, good water pressure. Ptac unit heated well, microwave, small refrig. Ability to have interconnecting rooms. Hot Breakfast included & wifi! Accommodating staff. Cons: hallways not heated, dated decor, beat furniture, drawers dirty, rusted clothing racks, broken hardware on interconnecting door, debris behind nightstands. So if you don't mind small town Americana and can appreciate comfort over visuals you won't go wrong booking here. I do however think it is over priced. I wish they had more business so this could be spiffed up & marketed to its original potential.
