The best smoked salmon in the world and the kindest owner and staff. They’ve all been there for over 25 years, calling me by my name since I was a child and always give me a piece of lox off the knife when I order lox. The store is well circulated and clean and fish is kept on ice. The best way to order is say which fish you want and the weight or what you want to pay. I usually say 10 or 20$ worth of lox which is enough for 4 or 8 sandwiches. Even though I’m mostly vegan I make an exception every now and then for this thankfully not all good things come to an end in mtl

Can’t go wrong with their smoke salmon. You’ll be hooked for life. Really nice people and let you taste before you order your salmon. Always come back for it.

I would say the best fish place in Montréal. We have been regulars for close to 10 years. Frank is one of the nicest guys and you always get a slice of smoked salmon to try. By the way one of the best smoked salmon too.

Quality of fish here used to be very fresh. Was let down a couple weeks ago. Bought $100 worth of fresh tuna steaks, they smelled quite strong. Seared them, and by next day, they were totally off. At same time, I ask for wild salmon, which cost me another $100 or so. Very fresh, but I'm quite sure it was farmed due to color and very high fat content, and being labelled "atlantic salmon". This is a fish store with very few kinds of fish. Variety is not why you must absolutely go here. The reason you need to make a detour is the smoke salmon. Saying that it is good does not give it justice. It has a nice fatty taste that will change your definition of what smoked salmon should taste like. The rest of the fish is fresh but the smoked salmon is the show stopper.

Probably the best smoked Salmon in town. It's always super fresh and they will always greet you with a big sample slice. Also they have Salmon, Norwagian Trout, Char and Mediterranean Bass always super fresh and the prices are really very good and they also carry other kinds depending on the season and the fishing day.
