The Cricklewood Recreation Building on Cricklewood Boulevard hosts a variety of recreational and leisure activities for all age groups. Please visit our webpage to view the monthly activity schedules and for other event updates. You can also check the "Products" section for a list of our upcoming activities.
Walter & Mary Burke Park is located at 36300 Front Street (corner of Washington Street and Front Street) and provides a beach front for swimming, and indoor pavilion, and outdoor pavilion which are available for party rentals. The parks also provides other picnic tables, bathrooms, a pier with designated fishing areas, a playscape, swings, tetherball, and 2 sand volleyball courts.
Maynard "Red" Aurand Memorial Park is located at 34900 24 Mile Rd. (near blue water tower) and provides 2 youth baseball diamonds, outdoor basketball court, a youth soccer field, a playscape, skate park, bathrooms, and an outdoor pavilion which is available for party rentals.
Festival Park is located off of St. Clair Drive in the middle of New Baltimore. It is a 31 acre parcel of land that currently provides a soccer field and a gravel paved walking path. Future construction will include a soccer/football field and 4 youth baseball/softball diamonds. Stay tuned for construction updates.
Ruedisale Point Park is a 6.9 acre community park site located in the southeast portion of the City at the terminus of Ruedisale Street along Anchor Bay. This shoreline recreation facility provides users with a number of amenities including playscapes, picnic areas, grills, and portable restroom facilities in the summer months.
The mission of the New Baltimore Recreation Department is to improve the quality of life for all residents and visitors of the Anchor Bay community. We strive to provide a variety of leisure and cultural activities, special events, facilities and programs that encourage healthy lifestyles, fitness, relaxation, cultural enrichment and learning.
Vision statement: The New Baltimore Parks & Recreation Department provides opportunities for individuals, families, and special groups to promote community involvement in a safe, clean, and enticing environment in order to meet the recreational needs of our growing community.
Almost all New Baltimore Parks & Recreation programs require pre-registration so please come visit us at the recreation center or call us for more information. 586-725-0291 *Most of our youth programs also require a copy of birth certificate for each participant*
