Except for the cook had issues getting my husband's steak cooked properly, this was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Anna, our waitress was phenomenal! She stayed on top of our refills and made sure we had everything we needed. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the cook. Otherwise, this would be a 5 star review all the way!

LOVE this place. Great food no matter what you're looking for. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, all of it! Specials have been excellent every time I've had them. Service has always been top notch. Their bakery is fantastic. Definitely a place I recommend visiting!!

The service is always very slow, but we love their pasta bar on Wednesday nights. We went tonight though (Friday night) and not only was the service slow, but his Prime Rib was cold (probably because it sat on the counter for 20 minutes as our waitress stood there talking to another waitress) and my chicken was not edible-it tasted like rubber. The waitress asked me if I wanted a to go box and I told her no because the chicken was terrible. She apologized but didn't take anything off of the bill. So I paid $17 for mashed potatoes, pop, and a side salad. Plus the side salad didn't even come until after our main course and then only because my husband reminded the waitress. I realize that it's a holiday weekend and we came later in the evening, but whomever put a bunch of young girls on the schedule together is an idiot! The restaurant wasn't busy and all of the employees were standing around talking yet our service was terrible. Been going to the truck stop to eat for a long time regardless of the slow service because the food is always good. But after tonight getting both bad service and bad food...we're not in any hurry to go back!

This place has delectable French toast! I ordered the French toast and an omelette, but asked for no cheese on it. They must’ve been extremely short staffed the day we went, because the food took much longer than expected, and they forgot to omit the cheese. When I brought this to our servers attention, she immediately helped resolve it by having a new omelette made and also took a discount off our bill! She also surprised us by letting us pick out a piece of pie from the menu. So although the service was longer than anticipated, our server did a wonderful job resolving the issue.

The food is always great, breakfast served all day. A range of lunch time specials, the wild rice soup is thick and a whole bowl a lunch in each self. The night time menu, is a great selection of hometown taste to the big city, without breaking the budget. Fun family atmosphere. Don't let the "Truckstop" part of the name fool you. After eating you can check out the bakery, ice cream shoppe and need a sandwich to go, deli. The breads are made fresh daily.
