Worth trying. Cool vibe, lots of seating, fresh pastries. Matcha here is a pass. Lack of flavour, not enough matcha. Latte is par, $4.6 for a medium. Foam was a slight miss. Doesn't take AMEX.
Good place for some private time. Chai latte is fair but croissant is good.Recommended dishesCroissants
Wow, one of the best coffee places I've been to in my life. The taste was so vivid and mind blowingly delicious. It's definitely one of the places to check out in the city, you won't be left disappointed.
Generous service, gentle coffee, spacious place, enjoyed chillout music. Thanks!
Hit and miss. Their coffee beverages are all excellent. Sadly the iced tea and the homemade limonade fell short. The ambience is what will keep you coming back though!
Came on a Monday afternoon and it was packed. Loved the cool and relaxed vibe. Full of different crowds, from elderly enjoying conversations to students working on their laptops. Coffee was superb. Hot chocolate was lovely. Would definitely go back.
Very nice spot to grab a coffee on the go or stick around. Plenty of space to work or ready, and the place is usually quiet enough to focus. Interesting selection of fair trade coffees from different Canadian companies with a wide range in tastes. They have good in-house coffee. Some single origin and other locally sourced beans available also. Lot of choice of coffee hardware available. Service is kind and informed. Recommend
We came here after seeing the reviews on Google Maps, and Nektar did not disappoint. The cafe was 2/3 packed with customers that consist of a kinda loud family, many young adults working on their books or laptops, and some other couples/small groups that were just there to talk. The overall ambience is very relaxing, and the space was plenty -- we didn't feel cramped at all, given this almost full house of customers! The croissants had been sold out by the time we arrived, but they suggested that we could go buy bread at another bakery right around the corner which was an awesome suggestion -- the bread there was great! and just get some drink here. We ordered an Espresso and a macha latte. Both very enjoyable. We came back again on the same day after lunch to work: the attached picture is the “cold brew” and “macha latte.” The bread in pics is from the bakery they recommended us Working on our laptops here with power sockets, A/C, and nice music selection is a bliss. Would surely recommend this place!
Great coffee shop on the Main Street. Chai Latte not too sweet and made from leaves. Recommended!
First time going and the service was amazing. The person I spoke with was very sweet explaining the menu and giving me options. Definitely recommend.
