Negril

The food here was very disappointing. I read the reviews before ordering . There seemed to be more good reviews than bad so I took a chance in hopes that it would taste good . In reality the food wasn't even decent at best . Rice was thick and chewy . I ordered the Negril styled chicken, I'm guessing it's similar to stew chicken and my boyfriend ordered the jerk . We love our carribean food but this was a disgrace to carribean cuisine . The stew was bland and had very little flavour . It was watered down ...all you could taste was water with a faint taste of salt . Chicken was cooked throughly which was good . But tasted as though it wasn't cleaned properly ...it just tasted dirty and had a slight smell . My boyfriend took 3 bites of his food and threw it out ...he said he felt sick after the first bite . We won't be ordering from here again ...they really need to focus more on making food delicious rather than cheap or affordable . I'd rather pay $10 instead of $5 for a container of really good food . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone . Take my word for it and order somewhere else

Easily one of the best Caribbean take out restaurants in Markham. Family owned and still family run. The portion sizes and prices make it an easy choice on those days you don't want to cook but want a very filling meal.

Fast service! Wonderful Customer Service! Not enough hot sauce. The portions are just right!
