Hakka Legend Asian Cuisine Markham

This is our go to restaurant while ordering Indian Style Chinese food in office. Recently, it was our first instance when we dined in and the food tasted even better when served hot. Service was super quick and our entire order was on the table in 10mins. Recommend lunch combos if going between 11am-3pm. Bombay Chicken, Chilli Garlic Chicken, Fried Rice and Hakka Noodles are usual go-to dishes. Have been eating from this restaurant since past 2years and it’s never disappointing. Highly recommended.

There are tons of varieties of food options. It’s small but ambience is good - typical info Chinese. The soups we didn’t like as it had some different smell. The chicken, chilli fries, noodles all good.

The food and flavour is good . The food portions were good .!the service was good . There are different various of food . It’s weird that they don’t offer hot water with lemon . The plates of food are shareable. 8/10

Markham is slowly becoming saturated with Hakka restaurants.nThe latest I've come across is Hakka Legend.nTheir menu is extensive with plenty of variety. For the classic and safe bet we tried their hakka chow main and chili chicken.nChili chicken was lovely, slightly Crispy on the outside but tender on the inside.nTheir noodles were flavorful, but the texture/shape resembled somewhat like spaghetti.nnDo note, I was disappointed that they do not include rice with any entrees, while other Hakka restaurants do offer it free of charge. This can pose as a deterrence as they will need to contend against Frederick's located in the next plaza over that's already got it loyal clientele.

This place is awesome. Best Hakka restaurant in Markham! The owner is very nice and friendly, and the staff are always great. We usually get pick up or delivery, but occasionally we do dine in. There are also of vegan options, and they allow customization to make it vegan.
