It turned out to be opening night when I went. We did the buffet and the food was tasty and flavorful, although it was only lukewarm. In hindsight, I think they were displaying the food for the opening. Seating is tight and requires some "schooching" around to get to some spots. Neat spot to go for a dinner though and I would go again.

The food is extremely good, We were there for our office Christmas party. Beautiful place with lovely people. I extremely recommend to try this restaurant.

From my experience, I would say that Negi has some of the best Indian food in the Renfrew, Armprior, and extended area. The owner/chef is very nice and the staff is usually pretty good. I was spoiled with some excellent Indian food from a prior home, and it is nice to see good examples of chicken tikka masala (instead of butter chicken), aloo gohbi and some other favorite dishes on the menu. We have eaten in and taken-away and have had good success with the meals. That said, having had really good Biryani dishes in the past, I would say there is some room for improvement. Also, it is nice to see that the interior of the restaurant has been expanded to include more space for sit down dinners. Hopefully this means that they are doing good business, and will be around for a long while.
