When looking for dog friendly places to have breakfast I found this cafe! And boy are they ever dog friendly! Everything about them is friendly! Great staff! Great location! And great food! Everything was so flavourful! I can’t wait to visit next time we are in the area and try a bunch of their baked goods!
Started with yummy cheese cake, breakfast benny, and coffee on the water for my birthday morning. We also loved the bagels with cream cheese on our first visit. Worth the visits for food and atmosphere. Cheers
This place is awesome. Staff was super friendly and the food and pastries were delicious. It was very busy even on a Wednesday morning and the staff were working their butts off while giving excellent customer service
Closing March 27th with the handover of the Skaha Marina to the Penticton Yacht Club. Reopening in early May at their new Front Street location, rebranding as "honey toast". Same great coffee, fantastic treats, and unmatched hospitality. Don't miss it; a true, world class Cafe.
I come here at least once a week for amazing breakfast and the best mocha in town. The staff are the most lovey humans, the food makes your heart sing, and the coffee is enough to not only get you moving but change your whole day!! Wanna have the best day ever? Hit the dog first and change your life!!!!!
This place doesn't disappoint. Staff members are always friendly. I looooove their baked goods and brunch food as well. I haven't had anything from here that I didn't like. As much as I love my 7-layer bars and scones, their soups are a must-try. So yummy. I LOVE Nautical Dog cafe so I highly recommend coming here!

Delicious coffee, delicious scones and crispy croissant breakfast sandwich wish we could have tried everything!, super super friendly people, perfect patio by the lake. Six stars! Also, they use to-stay plates and mugs and cutlery, even for my child’s milk, to care for the environment. Thank you!
This place is awesome! We come here for breakfast at least once a week and the service is always fantastic! Amazing food and amazing staff! Highly recommend The Nautical Dog for breakfast as well as cake orders!!
The experience at the Nautical Dog Cafe is a culinary treat to all your senses. The smell of the fresh baked sticky tasty treats, the sight of all the goodies in the display Case. The taste of a great home cooking, the feeling you have after completing your breakfast or lunch. The staff are extremely fast and friendly, and the view of the lake and marina is one of the best in Penticton. I highly recommend this experience!
