Two thumbs up to all the staff at Nashwaak Valley Tire and Muffler for their awesome service, from the receptionist to the mechanic's.It was my first visit and I was so satisfied with their work and good price, that I can say if anyone that needs work done to their vehicle I highly recommend taking it to them and I definitely found a place where you don't mind waiting for your car to be fixed .Thanks Joe, Kat and staff for your great service.😊

Only 1 Star...because that is lowest rating Google will let me give this business. Long story short: Joe was a friend of the family. I got my car inspected by another shop, and they gave me a list of parts required to complete repairs and pass inspection. We gave him the parts list and quote, he quoted us $400 cheaper...great. Upon bringing him the car, he didn't have any parts ordered, he only recommended that we do half the repairs, and it charged 2 hours longer to complete half the work. He did however pass the inspection. The original quote from the shop I did the initial inspection at was $1596.85. (for 2 struts, 1 wheel bearing, muffler assembly/resonator/gaskets, 2 shocks, 1 stabilizer link, alignment, AND labour). He billed me $1177.26 for two front struts, and two front wheel bearings, and to weld the muffler. -ABS light came on almost immediately upon leaving, to which I contacted Joe, and brought the car back to him the following week. He didn't fix it. -The rear shocks he said we didn't need broke 2 weeks later on a trip. Had to get fixed. -The muffler that he "fixed", broke in half while driving...More repairs. -Finally with winter coming I took my car to yet another shop to find out why the ABS light wouldn't go out. Turns out he installed the wheel bearing backwards, which wrecked the bearing, the ABS sensor, and the ABS sensor harness! Even more repairs. When I wrote Joe about this problem, he was rude, unhelpful, unapologetic, and his nearly final statement to me was: "their will be absolutely no compensation" I then resorted to threatening to write the BBB, to which he responded: "Good luck with that". His deadline for responding to the BBB was Dec 9th. He never responded to the BBB. He also blocked me on FB. THE END RESULT: He cost me an additional $1408.82 due to his improper diagnosis of the rear shocks, and improper repair of the muffler, and installation of the wheel bearing. BOTTOM LINE: Joe IS NOT a professional. He cuts corners to save himself time under the disguise of "saving you money". He doesn't care when he does poor work or completely wrong, he simply makes excuses. His attitude sucks as much as his work does.
