Narrow Espresso specializes in specialty coffee using authentic recipe with premium quality fresh, genuine ingredients. The main barista, AJ, received his training from Italian coffee company, Lavazza, in 2001. He makes the drinks, manages all the ingredients, and prepares bases for tea, lemonade, and other drinks using organic loose tea leaves, lemon, raw sugar, chocolate, etc.
Narrow Espresso uses chocolate and caramel from Ghiradelli (the second oldest chocolate company in the States, founded by Italian chocolatier) and offers VIVA vegan certified syrups for vegetarian customers.
AJ thoroughly cleans the La Marzzocco espresso machine, directly imported from Italy, every evening to maintain the fresh taste of premium quality organic coffee from North Mountain Fine Coffee, which directly and fairly trade coffee beans from South America and Africa and roasts them in the Valley. Freshly roasted coffee beans are delivered every week to Narrow Espresso! AJ lets them sit for three days before starting to serve because coffee is too sour when it's too fresh. He discards all the coffee beans that are older than ten days.
Baked goods offered at Narrow Espresso are delivered every morning from jane's catering service. The local certified kitchen bakes muffins, cookies, lemon bars, pecan bars, carrot cake, chocolate macaroons, almond macaroons, etc. all from scratch. jane's popular sweet potato breakfast biscuit has a whole free range egg in it and it's delicious!
