MRI AutoCare History

On September 5, 2001 the dream to create a successful, customer focused automotive service centre began in a small neighborhood gas station located in Lake Sundance. From our humble beginnings as a small corner garage we have evolved into a highly capable, full service repair and diagnostic center servicing most makes and models of cars and light trucks. In choosing our name, we desired to convey the idea that, along with normal automotive service offerings, we are a very skilled diagnostic shop. So, we ended up choosing "MRI" to signify that we do diagnostic procedures. Of course, it is also an abbreviation for what we also normally do! Maintenance, Repair, Inspection!

Over the last 12 years we have carefully chosen and developed a highly skilled and professional team of employees. First to greet you when you visit us is Frodo, our official shop greeter! He is a friendly Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Peter, our friendly & knowledgeable service advisor, is the liason between our technicians and our clients, and their vehicles. Scott, our lead technician and shop manager along with Mark, our 2nd highly skilled technician, are your vehicle's doctors! When your vehicle has an appointment with them they will tell you exactly what your car needs based on inspection and the factory recommended maintenance schedule, no more, no less, then you decide what you want to do. Together we have almost 60 years of experience. We have equipped our facility with state of the art Maintenance, Repair, Inspection and Diagnostic equipment, including OEM factory diagnostic equipment, as well as information systems, designed to provide high quality and professional servicing of most makes and models of cars and light trucks. In 2004 we decided to become affiliated with Napa and we became a Napa Autocare Centre. Soon after we were invited to join their elite Napa Autopro network of service centers and decided that this would help us serve our clients even better! And we believe we were right!! We are proud winners of the JD Powers & Associates award for Highest Overall Customer Satisfaction for the last 4 out of 5 years and 3 times in consecutive years!!

Most recently, in 2012, we joined the Signature Tire Centre family to improve our overall service offering to our clients.

We may be a small shop, but we are big in capabilities!!
