Nakusp Recreation Park

Nice and clean sandy beach. Stunning views of the surrounding mountains. From the Kelowna area and this was a lovely first stop to my long weekend. Will go here in the summer to swim. Highly recommend. Good for walks with trails along the end of the beach. Floating dock in the warming months. Good place for kids.

Fantastic amenities at this park!nBathrooms, tables, excellent playground, grassy fields, 2 tennis courts, 2 ball fields, awesome municipal campground next to the ball fields and a beautiful sandy beach and swim area across the road from the park!

Stayed in Nakusp for three days and we will always go for a walk in the morning and evening in the park. So beautiful! The landscaping is just amazing as well!

I spent a couple days here attending a ride-in motorcycle event. My event coincided with a soccer tournament, which meant lots of kids, but I really enjoyed my stay. Restrooms and showers were clean. The 2022 host, I'm forgetting her name, was super nice. Firepit and table at each of the sites. Level parking pads for those of you with trailers. I'd stay again, no problem!

Good place in this small town, good to take a morning walk and enjoy the view!
