A great family owned restaurant. Love their noodle dishes and skewers. But be aware of the chilies . Their desserts are a must try. Super refreshing and addicting. Their flavours are more on a sweeter side.
Really good Indonesian noodles! Such a hidden gem in Toronto. I loved the mie goreng and I prefer it to Chinese chow mein because it's less greasy! My favorite has to be the mie ayam, though. It's got such a subtle, clean flavor and the broth really hits the spot. I was a little letdown by the beef rendang and chicken curry, however. They tasted the same, just with different meats. The "secret menu" was also a tad too sour. Stick to the noodle dishes and you're golden
Charlene was outstanding in describing the menu and helping us to choose a variety of food and it was all delicious. Layers of complex flavour and just the right amount of spice. My favorite was the kwetiau goreng. Yum. Sate was also really good with the homemade peanut sauce.
I went here because all the 5 star reviews… now I am disappointed. The beef curry tastes good, but nothing exceptional tho. The portion is kind of small. They don’t have dine in, so we sat on their patio, which is fine. But they don’t even offer free tap water at their patio, we had to pay $2 for a bottled water. If you set up a patio for customer to eat their food, I’d also assume the service and water will be available?
Delicious.. I personally like the fried noodles.. but i forgot to take picture of it cos it smells so good!! So i ate it quickly n forgot the picture.. but over all, delicious food
I ordered Mie Goreng fried noodles with extra chicken and replaced beef balls with fish balls. It costed me around $25. There was waiting time of 15 minutes. The dish was really tasty. The noodles were not greasy or oily. I asked them to make it as spicy as it's there in authentic Indonesian food. I didn't regret it as the spicy level was just perfect. The owner was super-nice. She asked if everything is fine with the order. There's a small patio outside with space for 6-8 people. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Wonderful little spot in a converted row house on King Street. Very few places deliver these very authentic and delicious Indonesian dishes. Menu is kept small and the quality remains high. Great service as well. The chef is amazing at what she does, and so beautiful! Highly recommended!
Wow, excellent customer service and more importantly the food was exceptional. It was our first time trying out Indonesian cuisine and when we called in they were really helpful and patient with explaining the dishes and ingredients. We ordered the Mei goreng and will be coming back for more!
Such a cozy spot for Indonesian food. You could tell it’s a favourite among the locals. The owner is super friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend the Indonesian egg noodles. The broth was full of umami and the noodles had the perfect consistency and chewiness.
I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal here. All of the food that we ordered here were very tasty and authentic. We only visit Toronto for 5 days, wish we could stay longer to enjoy the food.
