The place had lots of selections and had a lot of seats. We came here during dinner and it wasn't busy at all. Kinda disappointed with what I ordered but I guess I'll give it another go next time. Price was kind of expensive compared to other Mexican places nearby. It was pretty clean though and the servers were nice.
Date visited 1/1/2023 I was a little disappointed in the portion size. The food was okay, but nothing special. The price was not bad, but I would have preferred more food for the price. Overall, it was an okay experience, but nothing to write home about. I had the Arroz Con Pollo. Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian version of Arroz Con Pollo
My first time here. A little disappointed in the proportion but the food was good. It's hard finding a good restaurant now days. I give 4 stars because the drink wasn't good and it wasn't alot of food the sauce was good but a little salty. UPDATE came back again ordered the chimichanga with chicken it's good but the drinks are still bad do not order the lemon drop. And heads up this place is a little pricey if you order anything more then a basic burrito I paid around $23 for the chicken a la creme dish. UPDATE DEC 26 2021 I took my brother here for lunch at 3 pm and although I hate to say this..the food was horrible. So my initial 4 stars goes to the 1 first cook. The cook I had today did not make the polo a la creme sauce good it tasted like I was eating mouthfuls of sour cream. I asked about it and the waitress told me the cook says the sauce is made of sour cream and cream cheese now I could be wrong but pretty sure there is an ingredient missing! I had to switch my food out for something else it was that bad and I got the chimichanga instead again it was not good and they didn't put any of the red sauce on it like my photo from the first one I was so disappointed in this. I'm also lowering my rating for this because all Cooks should have the same way of making the dishes for the restaurant they work for.
Excellent Mexican food and very pleasant service. They gave us crisp and warm chips on arrival. We tried vegetarian burrito and Arroz con veggies, both was very tasty and filling! I thought the portion size here was perfect. Definitely recommend!
Best Mexican eats around. Grew up south of here close to the border. Eaten authentic eats for many moons. Broke out of my norm and tried new things. So glad I did. The wife and I have tried several dishes here and we have enjoyed each and every one. So happy we gave this place a shot. Delicious food, excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll Be Back!
Foods great, but can we please for the love of everything get a veggie burrito that isn’t full of carrots and mushrooms and zucchini?? Not sorry, I’ve been vegetarian for 5 years and no veg in their right mind would put that in their own food when cooking a Mexican dish. Sometimes we just want beans and rice and peppers or onions. Like fr, do those even sell? And if they do how often do people remove stuff?
Been looking for a new Mexican place for a while now and decided to try the one in my own backyard. Portions are filling and prices are amazing! Great atmosphere and staff were more than welcoming. Will definitely be returning!
I used to really like this place and I moved out of state, and when we came back for a visit it was just... not good. Their chicken tortilla soup is excellent, has always been and still is. But I took my family out to eat here and two of our party ordered a burrito, one full size and one regular size, with the full size being five dollars more, and they came out exactly the same size. I got the Arroz con carne and it was so salty it was inedible. I really should have sent it back but I hate to do that. It looked like it had been sitting in a pot for days. I expected the meat to be the same delicious meat that was in the burritos, but it was chewy, gooey and inedible. Unfortunately, this place is kind of losing its touched. It used to be great, but now it seems hit or miss. If your going to spend the money to go out, go across the street to Ixtapa. Everything you order tastes great. Kid-friendliness: Kids chairs, kids food. Parking: Adequate parking if not busy
My family sat down at 1:49 pm. Happy hour started at 2pm & lasted til 5pm. Ordered drinks after 2 & another at 3pm. Did NOT get happy hour pricing because we SAT DOWN 10 MINUTES EARLY. WILL NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
Hmm. Came here for a $5O lunch with the wife. Beans and rice were fresh, everything else was who knows how old and just gross. The bell peppers and onions were mushy, the chicken was dry, thin, and tasted like soy sauce. They didn’t seem to care, otherwise service was good.
