A place where Calgarians can enjoy an authentic deli lunch — without the five-hour flight.
The deli's gleaming wooden walls and booths were inspired by Wilensky's, a Montreal landmark immortalized in Mordecai Richler's novel, The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz. The mahogany paneling in Myhre's Deli, as well as some of the furniture and photographs, revive local history; Brad salvaged and restored these pieces from The Palace of Eats, a vintage lunch counter that served Calgarians on Stephen Avenue from 1918 – 1964.
"Authentic Montreal Smoked Meat sandwiches served in a cozy old-school atmosphere. Excellent poutines and other mouth watering sandwiches. The very best Reuben in Calgary!"to add Myhre's Deli map to your website;
