My Tho Barbeque

Having seen this fabulous Vietnamese Sub charcuterie board at a friend’s house I had to order one myself. I’m so happy I did! It’s such a creative idea. We took it for a picnic with 5 people. Everyone loved it! You can build various mini-subs in one setting. The BBQ meats were tasty and the deli meats tender and delicious. The baguette was crusty on the outside and soft inside. Perfect! There’s plenty of sides like pickled carrots, cucumber slices, cilantro, onions, jalapeño slices, pate, and mayo. I highly recommend this place!

Despite being a meat shop, this place also sells delicious Banh Mi. My wife was recommended this place by someone she knows. The Banh Mi are excellent. They pack in the meat which makes the submarines here a good stomach filler. Parking is ample and while waiting, we see people ordering full bbq pigs here.

Probably the best Banh Mi's in the city. Traditional cold cuts, or BBQ and crispy pork options. These are packed subs and great value. We can't wait to try the Banh Mi Charcuterie platter. Make sure you are clear with your order, there can be a language barrier. Wonderful service and a great family who runs My Tho.

Get a group of family or friends together we had 4 adults, 2 kids and ended up with tons of left overs YUM!. Plan a fun activity and then don’t end up doing it because all you end up doing is grazing on this platter of magnificence bahn mi fixings/bbq roasted meats and baguette slices, and talking with beaming faces interspersed with sounds like “mmm” and “try the pate this time” and “oh wow”. Phone ahead to order the large charcuterie bbq meat platter. Take 80 clams in cash, and say hi to Son who is a treat to deal with. I’m already drooling thinking of the next time…

Updated prices: There has been a $1.00 increase to all their subs. But that’s happening everywhere with inflation! Still a decent price nowadays for a sandwich. My favourites are assorted sub, crispy pork sub, and bbq pork sub. They sell banh mi charcuterie platters that are perfect for pot lucks or picnics. You just have to call and reserve ahead of time. The store also carries homemade spicy sauce, pork rinds, etc. You can also buy their Vietnamese cold cut deli meats by the pound if you want to make your own subs at home. You’ll just have to do some sourcing for baguette buns and make your own pickled carrots etc.

The best Vietnamese sub in town. We have tried Viet sub many times before, but this place has the most authentic way of Vietnamese sub. Highly recommend Banh mi Heo quay or Banh mi thap cam, but the rest are also good. The price is amazing too.

Come here often for the Subs. This time we tried the special charcuterie platter and it comes with assorted meats and all the condiments they use with the subs. It says it feeds 3-4 people, but I would say it feeds more then that. Perfect for groups! Also the subs are amazing and the Pork Meatball is my go-to sub!

Absolutely love their banh mi charcuterie!! Also my go-to banh mi place as well. Fair price and delicious!

When my friend ordered through the phone to pick up, the lady was quite blunt. But when we arrived to pick up the food, the service was welcoming and food was beyond delicious. The bread portion was so big that I was full with only half of the bread. Their filling is absolutely enormous and mouthful. Great quality for reasonble price!

Would definitely revisit this place if I am ever back in Calgary again. Portion size was good for such a low price. There is also something special in their mayo because the vegetarian Banh Mi was just as filling and satisfying as the meat options which have more toppings. The ladies at the counter were lovely as well. They toasted the bread for us just right so that we could keep them in the fridge before our hiking trips in Banff.
