Green curry had a good assortment of veg and was cooked just right with some crunch to my preference. The beef slices included were tiny and very dry though. Chicken satay was not dry and well seasoned, with a nice peanut sauce on the side. Tom yum soup was also pretty tasty with the right amount of sour and spicy.
The spring rolls were crispy. The chicken skewers were well seasoned and soft. The pad thai is absolutely amazing! The rice is a bit dry but still tastes delicious. Will come back again to try other dishes :
The starter combo was great and so was the two main dishes we ordered. The rice wasn’t good though and was over cooked
I wish I lived in Kanata because this would be my go-to. Had Pad Thai, a curry dish and a couple of beef dishes, everything was delicious!
We had a pretty awful experience here. Don't order the mango shrimp salad if you are expecting shrimp. We had literally 3 slivers of shrimp. For $12.95 one would expect more shrimp. Our main dishes had very little chicken and portions were small and filled with "filler" ingredients like vegetables instead of the protein ingredients, like chicken which are more expensive. The Khao Pad with chicken had about 4 tiny chunks of chicken, and one would expect more for $15.95. The Green chicken curry for $12.95 had about 3 tiny bites of chicken. Our soup and curry were also served dangerously scalding hot and literally took about 30 minutes to cool down enough to be able to eat it. We still burned our mouths. It was a temperature issue, not a spice level issue. The whole thing was a very unpleasant experience and we feel ripped off. Never again. There are better Thai places in the area than this, thankfully. The owner should have more respect for their customers and serve them what they pay for. Everyone left hungry and aggravated.
This was our first visit take-out but certainly won't be our last! Our previous favourite Ottawa Thai place was a drive across the city, but this is in the west end, where we live. It not only equalled the flavours, but is also less expensive! We arrived 25 minutes after ordering, and as they promised, the three dishes were ready and still hot when we got home. In addition, this was Christmas Eve, when so many places were closed. The vibe was professional and efficient, and most appreciated!
Super excellent curry food! Service is good, place is clean and cute. It's like being to Thailand Vegetarian options: Taste very good
We just moved around here and my babies love noodle. We drove passed by the restaurant so ordered shrimp pad Thai with extra shrimps because my babies love shrimp to try out. I normally don't like to eat Pad Thai but wow, I can't stop eating it, very delicious! hehehe.. I can say one of the best Pad Thai I've been tried so far. I am Thai so when I said delicious, I meant it. My babies also liked it a lot. Pretty generous portion and good service so will see you again
I ordered for uber eats and they did a great job. I ordered extra meat because of all the comments about not getting enough meat and yes it's true like they could have done a little bit more meat even. Though I paid an extra like five bucks for meat. Other than that that's my only concern the food was delicious. We had the glass noodles, the fried rice with curry and pineapple, and the green curry with chicken and shrimp. The meal was very good really tasty delicious still came hot. Just a note to the owners that you should leave an area on Uber eats that allows people to make requests or adjustment such as like no green peppers.
First time trying My Thai Village and ordered the Pad Thai because that's always the dish we get to test the waters. Happy to say the food was delicious. The noodles has a nice texture, there's great authentic flavours of tamarind, and a bit sweet smokey from the wok. It's a good portion with a decent amount of protein. Staff was friendly and fast. We were impressed with everythimg. Looking forward to trying more from them!
