Great local eatery. Lunch menu prices are really reasonable, generous portions and include soup and a spring roll. My partner did a fried egg add-on for an additional cost and it was great on the rice dish. Thai iced tea was decent, a little bit on the sweet side but not bad. Their pad Thai sauce is a little on the sour side for me and their mild seems a bit spicy I would personally get no spice in my future visits. Hence the 4 stars.
It's a small but great place to eat Thai food. Jared is also very helpful and friendly. Careful when ordering Thai original spiciness, I thought western food can never be spicy but they are truly as spicy as chili padi.
What a beautiful place set in a little cute area of town in Victoria. After purposefully getting lost in locating a little place for dinner, I was pleasantly greeted by a very professional and polite and welcoming young man. I was happy to hear him welcome me and when I asked for take out he politely handed me I menu and took my order. After I sat he professionally offered me some water and even poured it for me which shows the etiquette of serving tables as being very impressive. I was delighted and felt at home immediately as I waited for my food. Upon returning home and opening my food I was eager to taste the flavors for I had asked for as spicy as possible. As I enjoyed my food I realize that this was a wonderful meal that had rich flavors, spiced and the right amount of temperature in spice as well as temperature of food. I would recommend this place and would only caution that though it is a small establishment it is huge in flavor and good quality food. My compliments to the chef.
This small Thai restaurant on Cook Street tells a big story in their cooking. Lunch is a treat, with delicious flavorful soup and a spring role with every choice. And there are lots of excellent choices! I had the Gaeng Massaman Gai, which was filling and fresh and very delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant, for lunch or dinner.
Cute Thai place. Great food, healthy portions, friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. The Panag curry was nice peanutty and rich. Recommend getting it medium to spicy!
Gaeng Massaman curry so delish and rich in flavor! Support your local family resteraunts their food doesn't dissapoint
The food is always good. This is the only place I go for Thai food, in Victoria. Love their Thai iced tea.
I really need to say the server in this restaurant is really nice and responsible person. 5 stars to him.
In my opinion, this is easily the best Thai restaurant in Victoria. The quality is top notch and consistently so, the owners are super friendly and helpful. Portion sizes are great and the prices are reasonable. I look forward to dining in again in the future, but meanwhile their takeout is awesome too!
Run by a family, I recently came here with a friend who highly recommended the restaurant. When we came for lunch, we were served by the daughter of the owners, who cooked for us and served us, she was the sole employee for the entire lunch rush, which got progressively more busy as it went on. She was sweet, knowledgeable and very prompt with her service. After trying each one of the three dishes our party ordered, everything was great. Lunch came with a soup and spring roll, both delicious and piping hot, and the lunch portion was perfect. If you want something on the spicier side, definitely go for their “hot” level of spice as the dishes seem to cater to a Western palate, and the medium level of spice for both my partner and I wasn’t very spicy. Otherwise, the food was consistently delicious, and I would definitely come back to eat here again or just stop by for takeout. If you want an independent restaurant with authentic taste, this is a fantastic option.
