My visit at Mustafa Turkish Pizza had both hits and misses, making it difficult to rate the place. The restaurant has a unique interior resembling a grotto, with nautical decor and wooden tables that suggest a seafaring adventure. It was interesting, but I wasn't sure how it complemented the Turkish food that was served.nThe menu was simple and straightforward. Each dish had a name, image, and price. The prices were quite high. What stood out to me was the lack of free tap water, which was a first for me in Toronto. They only offered bottled water or tea, so I ordered tea.nLentil Soup: It came with the Beef Kebap that I ordered. It was flavourful, a little spicy, and very hot. It was slightly over-seasoned in my opinion.nBeef Kebap: The meal was huge. The smoky aroma of grilled steak was enticing, and the meat was tender and juicy. The bed of rice was white but well seasoned, absorbing the juices and adding to the dish's richness. The oiled pita was soft and gave me another thing to bite into in between meats. The issues I had included some meat pieces were over-charred, and veggies were not evenly grilled. The peppers were underdone, and onions were nearly raw. A bit more attention to grilling would have improved the meal's overall quality. The meat pieces were over-seasoned.nTheir standard black tea, unsweetened and simple, was satisfactory but unremarkable. Service-wise, the staff were amicable and seemed eager to assist, adding a touch of warmth to the encounter. Access to the washroom was an unexpected challenge, with narrow stairs posing a safety concern. The cleanliness of the men's room and a non-functional soap dispenser were additional drawbacks. They seemed to have a very good selection of desserts, but I had no room for it after such a hearty meal.nIn summary, while the food provided good value, the cost did not align with the overall experience. Also, certain items were overseasoned, which bothered me a little. The restaurant's policy on water felt like a misstep in hospitality. While I'm open to exploring their takeout options, I would not return for another dine-in.
Mustafa restaurant has a unique interior with a cave style, this is the best part in the restaurant.nnIn general the food was decent, however the kebab baity was good but the pide lacked of a sauce or juiciness.nnOverall decent food with good service, but it’s slightly expensive for this limited quality.nnI’ll never back again !!
Amazing taste - everything tastes perfect and on point. We ordered mixed Kebap, Doner shawarma, and baglawa. The most authentic Turkish taste in Toronto.nnAtmosphere and service is great, the decorations is unique and the music in the background is good. The bathrooms aren't that great though. Needs more observation.nnIt can get a bit busy, with an average waiting time of 15 min on a Saturday. They don't accept reservations. Parking is limited but somehow available.
Small restaurant. Definitely a little overpriced. The portions are large and there are 3-4 vegetarian options. They gave us complimentary salads which were nice. The meat pizzas were good. I wasn’t able to take a picture of the vegetarian pizza but I ordered the assorted vegetable pizza and it’s pretty bland. Just tastes like cheese and tomato. It’d be really nice if they seasoned the pizzas the same as the meat ones because the meat pizzas are stuffed with meat and other ingredients whilst being the same price as the vegetable ones. Overall it was a nice place but not all that.
Returning to a Turkish restaurant I hadn't visited in six years, I was thrilled to find that both the service and food quality remained exceptional. The warm and inviting atmosphere instantly transported me back. The attentive staff greeted me warmly, providing excellent recommendations. The flavors and presentation of the dishes were a testament to the chef's commitment to authenticity. Each bite was a delightful taste of Turkey. The traditional Turkish desserts were also outstanding. This restaurant is a must-visit for an authentic and memorable Turkish dining experience. The price was reasonable too I wish it was closer so I could go there more often!
