I’ve been going to Turkish restaurants across the U.S. and Canada for years, and I can confidently say this was one of the best experiences I’ve had.nThe food was incredibly authentic and delicious. Portions were generous and truly filling, easy to pack up leftovers. The space is beautiful, with warm lighting, tasteful décor, and authentic Turkish music playing in the background.nThe staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive. Unlimited tea after the meal was a lovely touch. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, they don’t rush you out, stay open late, and you can comfortably sit and enjoy the space until midnight.nI was very satisfied and will definitely be coming back.
Indeed a gem in a busy intersection. Food was good. However, they were out of doner meat by 8pm on a Saturday night. Also quite disappointing is that they don’t serve tap water and only offer bottled water. The servers were nice and friendly, but a bit inattentive. We had to remind them of our missing orders a couple of time. But yes, the food was good.
This is a Turkish restaurant offering a charcoal cooked menu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We entered and asked a table for two and was told to wait for 10 minutes because we didn't a reservation. The wait was about 30 seconds so either it was a ploy or they acted quickly to accommodate us.nnWe ordered a donair plate and a pide that had three sections to it: cheese, ground beef, and lamb. The donair plate was great! The beef was crispy and very flavorful. The pide was almost 2 feet long and 6+ inches at its widest. The ground beef section was nice in flavour but the lamb wasn't much to talk about. However, the cheese section was very nice. I would have liked an asiago cheese to bring out the saltiness of the cheese but it was good on its own.nnI was hoping for distinct or strong flavours unique to Turkey instead I got a mild flavour. That isn't a bad thing because the food tasted great. It just wasn't much different from going to a kebob place for takeout.nnWe think the waitresses were new and in training because they took the menus but not the order. They didn't bring water nor asked for a drink order and as I was still eating, food in my mouth and in my hands, they took all of our plates away. I couldn't help but laugh because it was so funny.nnWould I go again? Nope. Would I suggest you go try it out? Yes.
Amazing little hidden gem!nVery cozy atmosphere and extremely delicious food. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The Turkish tea brought back memories of Istanbul and its warm hospitality. The dessert was a sweet, creamy perfection.nA big shout-out to the gentleman in the white shirt — you are a rock star! Your professionalism and attention to detail are incredible.nOne thing to note: the place is quite busy, so wait times may vary.
The place has a vibe that totally reminds me of Istanbul diners. The food was super tasty, but a little greasier than I expected. Even though it was really flavorful, it’s on the pricier side compared to other Turkish spots. It's worth trying out once, especially since you can find some amazing Turkish restaurants around Toronto.
