The place has a vibe that totally reminds me of Istanbul diners. The food was super tasty, but a little greasier than I expected. Even though it was really flavorful, it’s on the pricier side compared to other Turkish spots. It's worth trying out once, especially since you can find some amazing Turkish restaurants around Toronto.
Feedback for Koz Bingol 6th October 2025, around 4 PMnnWe come very often to Koz Bingol and absolutely love the food here. However, today’s experience was quite disappointing.nnUsually, whenever we visit, we are served with side dishes — one yogurt and one vegetable dish with bread. But today, we were surprised to be told that side dishes are only served to customers who order kebabs. What made it even more confusing was that we noticed other customers who did not order kebabs were still being served side dishes.nnWe asked multiple times why we were not served any side dish, but the response we received was that side dishes cost $7 CAD and we needed to pay for them. For us, paying $7 CAD is not an issue at all — but the attitude and the way the staff responded were unacceptable.nnThe two girls working at the restaurant today were quite unprofessional. The girl in the white top took almost 10 minutes to bring a bottle of water after we asked, and the girl in black was rude and completely ignored our questions.nnWe are sharing this feedback because we genuinely love the food at Koz Bingol and have always enjoyed coming here. The previous team was always polite, respectful, and provided excellent service. We hope management takes this seriously and ensures professional staff are maintained — we would hate to stop visiting because of poor service from the current staff.
It was my first time visiting this Turkish restaurant with my friend. The place was smaller than we expected, but cozy. A young man welcomed us warmly, and his service was great. We ordered the Beyti, which was absolutely delicious – highly recommended for Turkish food lovers!nnAfterwards, we enjoyed Turkish coffee and a dessert, beautifully served in charming cups. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely come back
An Ode to Refined Hospitality in the Manner of Ottoman Splendor nnUpon entering this noble establishment, one is at once enveloped by an air of immaculate refinement. Cleanliness reigns supreme — not a speck of dust dares disturb the polished marble floor, nor a shadow mars the gleam of the wooden tables, crafted from rich, noble timber that seems to whisper stories of ancient craftsmanship.nnThe service is of a caliber most rare. One cannot remain unnoticed; the attendants, attired with immaculate precision and grace, appear at a mere glance, anticipating every need with quiet dignity and the confidence of those well-schooled in the art of true hospitality. Their bearing is both humble and regal — the very embodiment of Ottoman courtesy.nnThe fare itself deserves its own verse. My Iskender kebab was presented with three varieties of fresh and vivid salads, each complementing the dish as jewels might adorn a sultan’s crown. The aroma of charred meat, prepared over living embers and open flame, carries with it the soul of Anatolia — the warmth of hearth and tradition entwined.nnAfter the feast, a cup of coffee was served — not in haste, but in a dainty vessel, small yet proud, its fragrance reminiscent of the fine brews found in the salons of Western Europe. It possessed that cultivated flavor to which one easily grows accustomed in the grand cafés of Paris or Vienna, yet it retained the proud character of the Orient.nnThe house is governed by harmony and order; there is movement, but no chaos — only the tranquil rhythm of a place that knows its worth. Even the washrooms, often neglected in lesser establishments, gleam with care and refinement.nnIn all, this is a sanctuary of taste and respect — a haven for travelers and gentlemen alike, a place where one might dine, rest, and feel restored in both body and spirit. Such establishments, rare even along the sunlit coasts of Antalya, stand as living testaments to the enduring grace of Turkish luxury and hospitality.
This place definitely has some flavours of Istanbul and me and my partner always enjoy the food. This time however, our server was quite unprofessional and rude. Didn’t offer water, barely checked in and never smiled once.
