Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare - South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site

The staff, nurses and doctors were all very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this hospital to anyone who have small children. The youthful stop at emergency were very kind to my daughter and made sure that she was doing well. They also gave her paw patrol stickers.

I have taken my daughter that is a year-and-a-half-old to emerge with pneumonia and make us wait four and a half hours and said she is not priority people need to get their stuff together and that is being polite I would think an infant would have some kind of priority over somebody's sore foot such a shamble of a hospital which I would not call a hospital not impressed with the service of this Hospital and I think from now on we will take our family orilla or barrie where we are treated as humans and not a number

I went to this hospital because I had an spontaneous miscarriage. The nurses were very polite but the doctor who dealt with me it was terrible. He sent me back to the cottage where I was spending my vacation without making any referral to Orillia Hospital to be done with a D&C. Half of the placenta was felt inside when I went back to the cottage and I lost 2 and half little of blood. Therefore I end up going back twice to the hospital. Without knowing the miscarriage procedure that needed to be done I did not know that I needed a D&C because I still had peaces of globules and placenta left in my uterus. I was almost dying when the EMS arrived at the cottage. The doctor should know what they have to do when a woman is dealing with a miscarriage and treat her with dignity not like an animal. The doctor made a mistake to send me to the hospital without cleaning my utero and and not removing everything I had left. My life was in risk of death and thanks God I am still recuperating.

I had an outpatient procedure done and the nurses, doctors, volunteers and even the cleaning staff did an outstanding job. They are all well educated in their associated fields, profficient, skilled and very personable.
