Completely caught by surprise how excellent a stop this was. Some wonderful Nova Scotia history across multiple industries and plenty of hands-on activities for kids. Looking forward to going back, and the time planned just wasn't enough.
Cool place. The static Industry Exhibit is pretty entertaining and the changing exhibit was on quilts. It was more interesting than I could have hoped. Couldn't spend a day here, but definitely a couple hours. Worth the experience.
Fascinating collection of historical machinery and in depth exhibits explaining the rise of industry in Nova Scotia. Great for families with children of any age or adult tool and tech geeks like me.
Took my family to this museum. I really enjoyed it. However my children had mixed reviews. Keep in mind the children are 3, 9, and 11. But there was a lot of interactive games for the kids to do and use. Only need about 1 hour to complete the walk thru. Staff was very friendly. Recommend for a quick visit.
Interesting information and exhibits that are engaging to children and adults.
