Good vibes & great place for a night out. Food was just okay tho. Even though fried chickens are pretty good — we had Supreme and Snowy, other dishes were just so-so. No side dishes. Over all, not my favourite place for Korean food/fried chicken around the area. Prob will go back just because they open til 1 a.m. Worth a try tho.
As a self proclaimed Korean fried chicken expert I would rate the overall flavours of this spot to be a two star. The way they fried their chicken is pretty decent but it’s nothing special, just them using quality meat. Feel like there was a missed opportunity here in terms of stronger seasoning in the breading and flavouring itself. A spicy wasn’t spicy a cheese wasn’t very cheesy. Will have to comeback and try their other offerings maybe it was a off night! Would definitely recommend others to check this spot out still doe. Good sizes and portions.
Great authentic Korean food! We went there for dinner two nights in a row during our visit to Vancouver. Everything we ordered was so delicious. Love their fried chicken so much and the rice cake with spicy cheese is so flavorful as well. Service is also top notch. Will be coming back for sure!
Mumu kitchen is a great find for Korean bar foods and drinks. I appreciate the dining layout and partitions which make the place comfortable even during covid. The atmosphere is very chill and I think it’s nice that they play kpop from different eras and genres, not just what is currently mainstream. The food is good and they have a variety of fried chicken, jeon, and tteokbokki to try from. It was fun to come with a few friends to try more variety of foods with some drinks like soju and makgeolli. The wait staff are a bit hard to get their attention at times so you do need to be a bit obvious if looking to order more or need something. The orders do come out fast though which is always greatly appreciated.
Cute korean restaurant with k-pop vibe! Ordered ban ban chicken original and yang-nyeom chicken and rose tteok-bok-ki, and they both were delicious. They have wide variety of fried chicken menus, and I especially loved their original one! + Ordered ban ban chicken again with french fries with cheese powder for takeout. They were awesome
Yummy spot for Korean food on Davie St near English Bay. Very fun spot with kpop music blasting and music videos playing. Can get pretty loud. Food was pretty good. Budae jigae was perfectly spiced and had great amount of veggies, sausage and ramen. Snow cheese chicken was just ok — I was expecting something sweeter and it was just Parmesan. Corn cheese was tasty and took a little longer to prepare.
Highly recommended! Nice food and nice service! The fried chicken are all so good even though I don’t eat spicy! The seafood pancake and kimchi fried rice are super delicious!
Never been in the store BUT! Definitely looking forward to have ! We always order online! Always fresh and delicious! I think the uber driver also was on time! Anyway i hope the store is fixed after the bad weather! See you all soon!
Blue crab soup was the best! There is no restaurant offering this qualitative soup in Vancouver. I was craving for eating this so much. There were more than one crab in the soup and the broth was purely made from crab. Stir fried soondae was smelly so I barely ate the soondae but I liked the sauce and udon noodle. And the seaweed rice was great but overpriced. I ordered from Ubereats but I will visit here next time. I want to try other cuisines too :
Honey fried chicken bone-in and rosé tteok-bboki. The chicken was very crispy and had a good flavour. They had a large selection of flavours in comparison to other Korean fried chicken places I've visited. These two dishes were shared by three people and we were stuffed! We came right at opening, but it got very busy as we were leaving.
