Mt St Helens Cellars

We go wine tasting a lot. This place is a must to stop if you not in a hurry. $5 tasting fee per person waived with a purchase of a bottle of wine. Pretty easy as all of the wines are good. Friendly staff and a wide variety to taste. We tasted over 10 :) From whites , reds, to dessert wines. es it took about an hour and we were the first when they opened at 12 noon on a Saturday. I could imagine longer if they were busy. A wonderful hour and we got a bottle of their 2013 "Kick Ash Red" yes they have some cute names to follow the theme of Mt ST Helens,

First time I enjoyed all the wines of a particular winery. If you want to a "Washington gift" to send to a friend - the labels represent Mt St Helen and surrounding area. The server was friendly and had good information. Perfect stop along I-5 on our way home to Seattle from Portland. - I just noticed the review below mine. Our experience was opposite. The server was also one of the owners. She stayed with us the entire time and tasting was at the speed we chose.

Terrible experience. Wine was not great and attendant took over 30 mins to serve 3 glasses to taste. She disappeared into the back room and never came back. The people next to us just left and we just left cash under our wine glass.

Really neat shop with lots of goodies related to the Mt. Also the staff are very friendly & helpful.
