Mrs D Jerk-Roti & Pastry

A nice little roti establishment on hwy 10 in the north end of Orangeville. Presently only offering takeout. This Cafe has a variety of Caribbean dishes, drinks and desserts. I always seem to order the boneless chicken roti, which is always delicious and very filling. The service is good. The value is excellent.

Saw this restaurant while going to Orangeville. After looking at the reviews I decided to try it out. I bought the boneless chicken roti and it was good. I got doubles as well they were ok. From the other reviews I gather that people are comparing these doubles to what you would get at other Caribbean restaurants in the city. Where typically the bread is thinner and has a saucy channa but this bread is thicker and the channa is not as saucy. In all I wouldn't say they are bad just made differently.

Mrs. D Is a must-have any time we're driving through Orangeville. Great service, great food, great selection. What more could you ask for? I appreciate that they give me proper spicy when I ask and not white-boy spicy. Great goat, poulouries, great dahl puri. I love it there.Food: 5/5

Mrs. D's is simply delightful! You are welcomed with a big smile, great conversation and the best dam roti on the planet!!! The food is very high quality, the spices and seasoning divine and the potion sizes along with flavors will have you return time and time again! Don't tink twice mon and head to Mrs. D's now!!!

This is... hands down.... the BEST.... Roti you can get anywhere. I can't say enough about this place. The food, the kindness and the passion that goes into this place is just amazing. Mrs D is always there to greet you and make sure you are satisfied with your order. The Jerk Chicken roti is not advertised on the menu but if you ask her to make it which we do every week there is no hesitation. It's always ready within minutes of calling to pick it up and ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!! You know it's authentic because the spice level differs every week and when it's extra spicy, it's even better!!! Thank you for being available so close to home. If you ever decide to close, I will need your recipes. GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!

First time here and LOVED IT! drive past all the time, cant believe I've never stopped before. Will definitely return many more times. Food was amazing, so fresh and perfectly spiced. That hot sauce . Variety of house made bakery items. Mrs D was so lovely! Warm, welcoming, friendly. Clearly takes great pride in her beautiful restaurant. Enjoyed chatting with her. Please support this well deserving lady when you're in the area! Dine in or take away. Veggie options avails curried chickpea roti was unreal!

If you want that home cooked feeling, go to Mrs. D. Everything offered in the menu is authentic. Had the oxtail with peas and rice for the first outside of family and it was delicious! The curry goat roti is always a winner with my family.

Went here for the first time, I got pastries, OMG there were delicious. The pine tart filling is perfect and the pastry is soft, the look and smell reminded me of Guyana. They were very friendly. I didn't get food but after having the pastries I know the food is good. Well done guys! Don't change your recipe for pastry

This place is awesome! It's a clean, cozy little place. Their spicy chicken roti is amazing! It was huge and I could barely finish it. And the service was great! She was very friendly and made my lunch fresh. Love it and will def come back again

I recently moved from Brampton and was so sad to lose to my favourite go to roti shop. Happened across Mrs. D by chance, thought I’d check it out. She did not disappoint!! In fact I think she’s even better!! So glad I came across this little place, friendly service and delicious food. This place is officially my favourite Roti shop
