My children love coming here, which is why I have ordered from this location several times. I have also found the staff to be friendly and attentive. As for the taste, imagine a better quality Timbit with different sauces depending on the flavour that you order. Of course, if you are looking for a fancy dessert, this may not be the place for you. Remember, this is a puff store after all! If you want to have a fun family outing, however, this place is pretty good, with the flavours appealing to children.
I have had loukoumades from elsewhere and they had more of a donut consistency. These however, were very airy with basically no dough inside. A dozen for $8 I was expecting at least something more substantial. The sauces were also very sweet and artificial tasting. We got raspberry and salted caramel, we were hoping the raspberry would have some tartness to off set the salted caramel but it was just as sweet. Not impressed and won't be back. Will go to Mr Luko again though.
Great dessert spot in Landsdowne. The puffs are crispy a little bigger than other similar spots.. and wish they had more flavours! We tried chocoloco, cinnamon cream and biscoff and felt they were similar some how! I like their ice cream puff combo!
Cute little dessert cafe in the middle of a beautiful street. Try their special hot chocolate and soft serve with puffs combo! Great service and friendly atmosphere.
Amazing people, very yummy food Everything we ordered was perfect. Price is totally fair for the very high quality. We ordered cinapuffs, choco-loco, abd creamy caramel flavors. We also ordered different drinks and they were very yummy with little amount of sugar to ho perfectly with the sweet dessert. And of course, kids loved the salted caramel and hazelnut chocolate syringes. Thank you.
I had high expectation since they came from Quebec and I have had the competitor “Lokma” which I absolutely love. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed - it just didn’t taste as good as Lokma! I got the cinnapuffs and the cappucino crisp flavour. One thing I didn’t like was how the puffs tasted really oily and was way to crunchy. I could see that they make the puffs in advance which might contribute to lack of freshness. At Lokma they make it fresh per order. I do think that the soft serve ice cream looks pretty good and the price was really cheap with different dips and toppings so I’m definitely gonna try that! They have a lot of toppings in general like Kit Kat, coffee crisp, etc which is a pro and customer service was good. I just didn’t like the taste of the puffs as much as I like Lokma that’s all!
The puffs have an airy, eggy Timbit texture and the sauces taste artificial. The price is a good deal if you're treating out a group of kids but wouldn't come back here for a post-Lansdowne-dinner dessert. We got cappuccino crisp and biscoff. Probably better to go with one flavour and ice cream combo instead. Interested in checking out how Mr. Luko compares!
Great treat and amazing price. Got 8 puffs with ice cream, an order of 12 puffs and a chocolate milkshake for 20$. Service was very fast as well. Only thing that could be improved was that the sauce/toppings were too sweet for my liking. Next time I will ask for less sauce or just go with the cinnamon sugar flavour.
Fantastic place, food tasted great very crunchy but soft, the flavour Bueno by far my favourite. The two cashiers were super kind and sweet to customers. Super nice location with lots of sitting space, friendly employees, and yummy puff balls. Warning… waiting time can be long but apart from that it was a great experience. I would rate a 4.5 .
To be honest I had a low expectation coming in. Sure, it'll taste good, it's hard to go wrong on putting sugar on top of fried goods. But these stuff is actually impressive. It's not just a mini donut. It's not like lokma or anything similar. It's crunchy on the outside and gooey/chewy inside. It's not greasy or soak a ton of oil, and even tasted good after 2 days! Fresh is still best though
