Mr. Pet’s is a great place to go. Tyler and Darcy were very friendly, helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable about fish, tanks, plants, food and water conditions for my fish. Thanks you guys, you are rockstars. Best fish experience I have ever had!!
This is a large pet store shoehorn within a peninsula of land just between several major thoroughfare's in North Vancouver. There is limited parking outside in the parking lot itself is very small and generally shared with a garden store that is backing up onto the same lane. It turns out that this location is actually closing within the month however the brand itself is staying alive and will have stores further a field in the lower mainland. At the time we visited, there was a 20% sale on almost everything within the store. Selection was getting a little bit picked through, however as per this store generally, they have an excellent selection of dog and cat and general pet food as well as pet toys and sundries. This store brand is also one of the few that emphasizes pets such as reptiles and amphibians in addition to fish. They also have a lot of support for small mammals and rodents which a lot of other pet stores don't do. We really appreciated the store located in North Vancouver as there are a few options otherwise to take care of our reptiles. Also in the store they had a self-serve coin operated dog wash area which was also really welcome. Will be sad to see it go however will visit other branches in the future.
Closing soon, 20% off on everything. Unfortunately, a lot of things were sold out when we went. Many shelves are a bit empty. Check it out if you live nearby! Still worth it. It is not recommended if you are far away, you may not be able to buy what you want because they are all sold out

Decent pet supply store. A bit dim and a bit old, but has a good selection of product. Went there looking for aquarium fish so didn't browse other areas much, but looks well kept and stocked. Parking is plentiful.
I absolutely love shopping here and is hands down the best Mr. Pets store I have been to. The staff are so sweet and helpful and always take such amazing care of the animals kept at the store. They have a large selection of awesome items that are well priced. I suggest anyone to come to this store for pet needs as you will have an awesome customer service experience
Friendly and entertaining desk staff, and they were super helpful with guiding me to what I was looking for. Added bonus: best price I've seen locally for frozen pet food, as well as for freshwater aquarium fish! I was actually quite surprised by the latter. Definitely worth a visit.
We recently bought a fish tank from Mr. Pets. We ordered it over the phone to be delivered at the location in North Van. We cannot say anything good about the customer service at this store. We waited about two weeks to get a call from them and they never called even though they had it in store. If that's not enough the guy at the cashier told us that the warranty is not valid if you don't buy the original stand! Really ? I don't feel feel very comfortable to go back there and will try other pet stores in the feature.
2 of the 3 staff were kind of unfriendly when we were inquiring abt prices for dog tags. Also mislead us with prices; that said, I should have double checked the catalogue myself. Can't comment on other products or live animals as we didn't get any. Looked like a we'll stocked store though.
