Great place to go for a nice dinner. Great alternative to Boston Pizza for a nice sit down meal. Food was very good and had lots of flavor. Portion sizes were very good and the server was very friendly and courteous. Will definitely be back in the future.
Stopped here for a quick lunch on my way through Portage. Food and service was outstanding. the burger I had was cooked to perfection, and was not overly seasoned. The beef was so good, as was the bun. The fries were crisp and hot! Outstanding service by Kelly. She was quick, efficient, personable and made you feel valued as a customer.
Such amazing staff and excellent food! Driving through Portage la Prairie on our way home and decided to eat at Mr. Mike's. We came in for an early supper so it wasn't too busy. We waited a little longer than hoped for when getting the bill, but still excellent service.
From 1st to last bite everything was delicious. Cassidy was fantastic, appreciated the great service.Food: 5/5
I've had some great times here. The staff are vigilant in wearing their masks and very friendly. After sitting at the bar once, the next time I came in just over a week later the bartender and manager remembered me and came over just to talk. On top of that, I've never had a bad meal here. All their food had been top notch and comes out promptly. Lastly, their cocktails are well made, anything from an old fashioned to a millionaire to a fishbowl drink, it's all good! Great for a date, hanging with Friends, or just because life sucks and you want a drink.
My friend and I ate here Nov. 13th,2022 The food was good. However my friend had a bug in his water floating on-top of his ice cube we had mentioned it to staff and the waitress that served us was aware of this and we were still charged for our entire bill and the waitress only brought us new water with ice and no apology as well. This is unfortunate because I do enjoy Mr.Mikes but now it'll be awhile before we eat here again.
I sat at the bar for 30 minutes and watched Stan, the owner interrupt his lunch SEVERAL times to interact with customers, pour drinks, run food, and help his staff. As a career bartender myself I wish I had worked for a management and restaurant team that was half as on the ball as the folks at this Mr. Mikes is. As a general rule I’ve never been a fan of Mr. Mikes.. but whenever I’m in Portage I will make a point to hang out here for as long as my wife will let me. Food is great, drink are great, everything’s great. Go to Mr. Mikes
Went for supper with the whole family ,was a large group. Food was excellent very tasty and hot I find the prices are a bit high for some of the portion sizes though. Just wanted to point out our server Kadynce did a wonderful job! Right ontop of everyone's needs and refills. Great job for such a big group. Thank u
Excellent service minor issue with our order - steak was to be rare but ended up outside being burnt and inside being more medium, but was rectified very quickly. Would definitely recommend trying! Was a bit disappointed the kids meals don't include a dessert.
Service was awesome. Environment was nice. Place is beautiful. Food was delicious. They have board games to play at the tables. So fun. Extremely pleased for only being open 3 days so far. Can only get better from here!
