When it came time to pay for the diagnosis of my thermostat, the technician went from agreeing to accept payment by cheque, to requiring payment by Visa or debit card, to then agreeing to accept payment by cheque. As I was preparing to write a cheque out to Mr. Heat Mechanical for the diagnosis, I explained that I needed time to ensure that I was prepared to have Mr. Heat Mechanical do the recommended repairs based on the technician's diagnosis. The repairs would cost over $400.00, in addition to the $95.05 for the diagnosis according to the technician. I explained the steps I took as part of my due diligence before hiring a licensed technician to conduct repairs/work. The technician took it personally and was very unprofessional, rude and inappropriate. Here is a quote from the said technician on his ill-mannered, immature departure: " You know what? You can keep the $96.05 cause you look like you need it more than I do. " He let himself out and I immediately locked the door behind him. I could hear him cursing and muttering to himself as he went down the hallway. He never did provide me with the invoice. His shocking response to my due diligence makes me question his whole diagnosis. It appears as though he was not prepared to stand behind his diagnosis or quote. Why else would he act so combative and unprofessionally. I would not recommend this business to anyone. There is probably good reason why this business has not conducted any work for anyone else in my condo. I would suggest that Mr. Heat Mechanical not send such unprofessional staff who are not in control of their emotions or manners to customers' homes. It's of great concern that someone like this was sent to my home. RE below response from Management, Mr. Heat Mechanical: I contacted Mr. Heat Mechanical to check out a thermostat. An appointment was made to arrive between 9am and 11am on Saturday, March 17, 2018. The technician in question knows exactly what took place that morning. I do have the number of the technician that was dispatched to my home. He called at 9:30 am to confirm I would be home, said it would take him about 30 minutes to arrive, and showed up 1 hour later. My experience with the technician was shocking and unacceptable. I wish I had never contacted this business. Also, when he removed the thermostat he must not have been careful because a small piece of it broke off while he was putting it back in place and he ignored it. I heard the piece fall while the technician was working and only realized what he had broken after he left my unit.

Excellent service. We have been their customers for many years now, very polite and efficient, and reasonable prices as well. A true gem in Richmond Hill!

They did a Great Job with a furnace repair for me, on the coldest day of the year. They were on time and quick, and had my furnace up and running fast. The prices are very good. As real estate agent, I would recommend Mr. Heat Mechanical to my own clients.

My 11 years old fireplace stopped working. After searching for fireplace repair companies forever and calling around I came across Mr. Heat Mechanical. They service charge was fair. Technician diagnosed the problem very fast. Fortunately he had all the parts in his truck and fixed my fireplace on the spot. They also cleaned my fireplace glass too for me. It was covered with white residue for many years. My fireplace look new again. Thank you.
