$13.00 for a falafel plate see image, the same cost for a chicken or a beef plate? Never seen that before...Falafel were mediocre. I'll be surprised if they are made in-house! The point- no more falafels from here - maybe I'll try another menu option next time. Everyone deserves a second chance. Friendly and welcoming service.
A nice, quaint, donair shop. Seemed quite popular, the staff were super sweet, and the food was actually pretty darn good. I don't give out a lot of 5 stars, bit this place deserves it.
The owner and staff working here are very friendly and very passionate about the meat they use and how it's spiced and prepared. Everything was excellent. It definitely has more spice compared to an East Coast donor but most people will prefer that. One thing I did inquire about was the type of meat used and it is 100% locally purchased beef. They also explained why the beef isn't spinning around on the grill all the time and that was the Health Boards decision.
Amazing food at unbeatable prices. Always a pleasure to be around the staff. I always order a poutine with a scoop of shredded cheese, LOTS AND LOTS LOAD THEM ON of green olives and then I add the House Donaire sauce. Mix it all together and oh my goodness, it's absolutely heaven. I would give a million stars if I could. I've been going here since I was 8, I'm now 21. Enjoy!
This place is a gem. Crispy falafel balls, flavorful chicken and Donair with great fries. This place is perfect for late night cravings or cheat meals. You can add great toppings and sauces to poutines to truly make them your own.
Absolutely amazing Donair. Arguably the best I've had west of Nova Scotia. The service is always friendly and the meat and veggies are always fresh, unlike other places in town. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but a Donair with double meat, cheddar cheese, sweet and garlic sauces is sure to leave you full and thrilled. This is a place worth giving a try, even if you're not sure what a Donair is. They'll help you find the right menu item and you'll find a new favorite place for quick bite!
My family had pounair donair as poutine. It was very large and was fabulous! Drunk or sober, best shawarma ever. The poutine is also pretty spectacular, its my go to for both. The staff was very helpful helping us order with suggestions based on our likes. We would definitely recommend to anyone.
Not great. Meat was okay but could taste better/fresher. And dont use the pre mixed salad kits from the store for the wraps...thats lazy and carrots strips are weird in a doniar.
Pete's Pounair is the single best dish I have ever had and is likely the best food in the world anywhere. This restaurant is as important to me as my family.
First time there. It was clean and the service was decent. The meat could have been a little spicier but that's my taste. I would go back.
