This is a really nice venue, but the food has not been consistent. We have eaten there three or four times and the food is generally very good. The biscuits and gravy are great. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich and it came with sausage links inside the sandwich. The links were clearly pink in the center. The waitress asked the cook to come check on the sausages instead of taking the food back. The cook came to look at the meat and instead of cooking the sausage more or cooking new sausage for us, he assured us that the pink-centered sausaged were fine. It was very awkward and the sausages were not eaten. Still good overall though, and we have been back since this unfortunate event.

Great building, great ambiance. Service was friendly, but a little slow (which isn't necessarily a bad thing on a lazy Saturday morning). Food was pretty good, though the presentation was a bit simple. Overall, a good experience, and I plan on returning. I expect great things from the Mountain View Barn as their operation continues to mature.

Absolutely beautiful. Nice people. We reserved it for my sisters wedding and we all loved it :) easy setup.
