I went here for the first time while visiting. I had Sweet Cream and Sea Salt Caramel and my partner had Blueberry Sour Cream Cookie Crumble and Fresh Mint. They were pretty tasty. The caramel was a bit too much for me but still good.
Great spot with some unique flavors! I got the Maple Walnut and Sea Salt Caramel and the texture was so creamy! Maple Walnut had a very light maple flavor and heavy walnut flavor; I wish it were the reverse. The Sea Salt Caramel was excellent with a really nice caramel flavor. My husband got the Banana and Cookies 'n' Cream flavors and unfortunately the textures weren't quite as smooth and creamy. But the flavors were good! The single was plenty big, but pricey at $6.25 for a single large scoop. Not my favorite local Maine ice cream brand, but would definitely eat here again.
We love these crazy named homemade ice-cream flavors. Our only complaint is that we're totally understaffed for a summer Saturday. Only one server with a line out the door and trailing down the sidewalk. That server worked as quickly as he could while being courteous and friendly. One of their claims to fame is that they were patronized by the Obamas and have a picture of him eating a cone in front of their sign.
Truly a Baa-Haa-Baa treat!!! Flavors are extraordinary and creamy texture. Though no samples are offered, it seems one can’t go wrong with whatever one picks. Friendly staff gives quite an accurate description. Ample space and interesting decor. Not to be missed.
So glad to see this place has survived since 2007!. I love the homemade made on the island unique flavors. Since from the beginning, have had “The Dude” as my staple. Smooth, creamy and not too boozy flavor just right. But now the matcha has become a favorite for us. We will come next year just to have this every day! Note: During the summer, there are long lines which move quick but there is a reason because it’s well worth the wait for this delicious treat.
The best ice cream shop by the village green! We had the most amazing scoop of Nutella but they had a large selection of other ice cream flavors as well, including Maine blueberry and Vietnamese coffee. A must try place for dessert!
Unbelievable flavors. Super friendly staff. AND you can get 2 different flavors with a small sized ice cream which is really not small at all! Worth every penny.
Great treat while waiting for the Island Explorer Shuttle at the Village Green. We had the Blueberry Basil Sorbet , Sour Cherry Sorbet, The Dude, and the Butterscotch Miso. Excellent customer service amidst the continuous flow of tourists and patrons!
Looking for an east coast Salt & Straw? This is your place. Fantastic and magical flavors that taste as described but not overly sweet or sugary. Great advice and oat-based flavors too. Definitely recommend this spot.
Absolutely loved this place. We had five different flavors of ice creams and surprisingly all turned out to be great. I personally loved chocolate hazelnut and cookie dough ice creams. I even purchased a dark chocolate with walnuts fudge as I was leaving the same day. And the fudge was smooth, soft and the nuts were crunchy and yummy. Don't miss out trying at this place if you are nearby!!
