Morning Birds Bakery

This bakery is awesome! The pastries are so scrumptious and delicious. They are really soft, and moist. I really recommend the chocolate chip muffin. The hot chocolate is really yummy! It is rich and savory. Great location right off Reserve Street, and the building is really clean. The staff is super friendly and polite. Two thumbs up to this bakery, and really recommend it.

New location!! Morning Birds Bakery moved to The Bagels on Broadway location- I know 'cus I've been stalkin' those delicious pastries like a ravenous wolf. I'm so happy they're downtown! Looks like they've expanded their pastry menu to include soups, more yummy sandwiches, and of course bagels and spreads to name a few additions I noticed. Always friendly staff and lots of seating to group study! Finally got my espresso made right. Tough choice between maple bacon twists, jalapeño croissants, and hand pies! Loaded up fresh baked baguettes for charcuterie and sourdough bread! Lots of allies and LGBTQ+ friends on staff ‍.

We have been several times and always enjoyed the pastries and the staff could not be more pleasant and welcoming. Their chocolate torte was amazing and my husband raves about the “flakiness” of the pastries he chooses. During the Covid experience the lady even delivered it to my car out front!! They certainly went the extra mile that day!!! We appreciate all the early hours and hard work it takes to make this happen. Thanks.

Traveled across the US & this bakery is in the TOP 3 best baked goods/coffee places I’ve experienced. Try the bacon twist! Eat a cheese croissant, or their out of this world fruity berry bar. Off the chart delicious and friendly!!

I didn't even know this place existed until someone dropped off a variety pack of incredible deliciousness at our office. The Maple Bacon twists are phenomenal! The Jalapeño Popper Croissants! The Peanut Butter Buckeyes! The Kouign-Amann Danishes! WOW! SOOOOO good :

I had morning birds about 2 years ago now when it was in a different location and really thought it was quite good. I came back to Missoula and immediately sought them out. Unfortunately, I think they've lost something, and I don't think they are as good, at least they aren't as good as my memory. We had a Kouign Amann, scone, and strawberry cream cheese danish. I didn't even try to croissant as you could tell it wasn't flaky. The K-A had a tasty custard on it, which isn't typical of these, but was good. The pastry was very, very average though. The danish had decent toppings, but again, the pastry wasn't that good. The scone lacked high end texture as well, though the flavor was OK. There was a time I thought they really did support their lofty reviews, I cannot see that now.

An absolute gem of a business! I live about 400 feet from here and finally made the walk over with a friend and couldn't be more glad we stopped by. We were greeted by a friendly employee who proceeded to give us a 2 for one deal on croissants, and end of the day free pastry a piece, and loaded our paper bags with delicious treats! I had no idea this place would be so good! Thank you Morning Birds! Will definitely be back.

My husband and I just bought breakfast bagel sandwiches. They weren't even warm. The cheese wasn't melted. It was a $10 sandwich. We won't return. Bring back Bagels on Broadway.

Delicious pastries!! So many options and staff are happy to explain all the choices. They also have tea, coffee, and lunch sandwiches.
