More Perreca's

I ordered "Take Out" for me and my husband today as a special treat!! Nobody beats Perreca's Tomato Pie, Italian soups or Italian bread! Absolutely awesome! A+++++++ They have the "best ever" ladies who take your order, pack it so neatly and send you on your way! Thank you ladies! You are awesome! Perreca's you made my day and my husband's also!

On this week's adventures in brunching we kept it local. Decided to sit out on the back patio which is very nicely set up. Once settled in we ordered our drinks. If your a follower you should know what I ordered - yep a Bloody Mary. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. The accoutrements were a nice touch but the drink was flavorless and bland. I did order a second one just to make sure and it was the same taste. Daughter got the speciality brunch mimosa - I don't remember the flavor however it was a pretty purplish color. She said it was good and filled with champagne. Grand Princess had her kiddie mimosa but she didn't even drink it. I think that is the first time she didn't like one. For foods I kept it simple and got the egg plate. Nicely scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, home fries made with peppers but I picked them out and delicious toasted Italian bread. There were a lot of choices on the menu but nothing sounded good to me. There were appealing dishes but just not for me. Daughter got a BLT with a fried egg and a side garden salad. She enjoyed it and the salad was a perfect touch. Grand Princess had chocolate chip pancakes, eggs and bacon. I cheated and tasted the pancakes which were very good. The staff was wonderful. This place is a nice little gem in the area. Definitely worth a go if in the neighborhood.

Been a long time since I had eaten here. My DIL thoughtfully made reservations for Mother's Day. I had my favorite, Eggs in Purgatory. Delicious as always but the famous Perrecas bread was toasted with no butter. Is that a COVID thing? My son had Eggs Benedict which he enjoyed and our companions had Scrambled eggs with Fennel which they enjoyed, along with another order of Eggs in Purgatory. For Mother's Day it was jamming with an additional tent set up outside. Took time to get our food and settle the bill. Not a surprise with the volume of people. Enjoyed nonetheless!

More Perreca's was a nice little stop for lunch. I was disappointed to find a limited brunch menu. I did enjoy my chicken parm sandwich though. The star of the show was the salad dressing. I actually bought some to take home. We then why next door to the bakery for some Italian bread, some of their sauce, and a cannoli.Food: 5/5

The food was incredible. They make an awesome tomato sauce, we were really impressed. The portions were perfect. Great prices and the service was very good. Will definitely be back.

My first time at Perecca's for dinner last night. The staff were wonderful, attentive and very nice. I had the Scallop special with Creamy Risotto and Sauteed Spinach. The Scallops were wonderful and the brown sauce was light and flavorful. Had homemade bread and my cocktail was Peach Bellini because I like Prosecco! I will definitely return with friends to try a variety of menu items.

Nice ambiance, good service and of course, generous and tasty food. We ordered chicken marsala and a meat and cheese platter for lunch. Just enough for 2.

In my visit there, I was very much happy with the service and the food were just great! Loved the attitude of the hosts there and it was efficient! Although it was lunch time but when we requested, they prepared a dinner menu for us! Loved that! There were plenty on street parking for free at my time of visit! They had a bakery next door but it was closed at the time. Else, we would have explored a little more. This was the first time I saw little Italy in Schenectady!

I REALLY wanted to like this place given all of the great reviews, but I must say that I was not impressed. The atmosphere was a bit shabby. The famous garlic bread was quite literally a huge, uncut loaf of bread with very little garlic butter or cheese on top. My chicken parmigiana tasted good, but I was up sick with “issues” all night. I have never had this experience with a red sauce in my life? The cheesecake was not good…and for ME to say that, believe me, it’s not good. I would definitely not return.

Went for brunch on a recent Sunday and could not have been happier. The outdoor courtyard is very cute and nice. They have the best brunch menu in the area. The Tomato Pie Panini’s are to die for, and any menu item that uses their great bread is amazing. Can’t wait to come back!
