If you're on the lookout for a hotpot place that ticks all the boxes, Morals Village Hotpot in Winnipeg is definitely worth a visit. My family and I recently checked it out, and we were blown away by the amazing experience. First off, the menu is extensive, with tons of choices that cater to a wide range of taste preferences. We opted for the Schezuan hotpot, and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, and just the right level of spiciness to add that extra kick to the dish. But what really stood out for us was the communal experience of hotpot. It was the perfect way to bond as a family, sharing the meal and having fun together. And the service was top-notch - the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, we left Morals Village Hotpot feeling more than satisfied with our meal and the experience as a whole. We're already planning our next visit, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great hotpot experience in Winnipeg!
This is definitely hotpot heaven Morals Village Hotpot completely exceeded my expectations. The array of fresh ingredients, from juicy meats to crisp vegetables, were all top-notch. And the broth were soooo flavorful and delicious, it elevated every bite to a new level. The best part? You get to customize your hotpot experience, from the type of broth to the seasonings you add. And let's not forget the ambiance - the warm and inviting atmosphere was the perfect backdrop for a great evening out with friends and family. If you're a fan of hotpot or just looking for a new dining experience, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
1st time and probably last. 129$ before tip 3 people for two broth hot pot. Spice level 2 of five was too spicy for our taste. Items were unavailable, some for months Apparently. We didn’t get things we checked off and some things were crossed out as unavailable, never told us we had to figure out as we went. Slow service, never cleared away any raw trays. We tried a different place a mile away that was way better and way cheaper. This place most various meat balls had little to no flavour. I asked repeatedly for extra of one item I liked finally brought more, cold and undercooked and one piece was a half broken. Hint, Turn your pot so both sides boil helps cooking raw food. No cups for drinks they had to look for some. Utensils were in a mixed pile on a tray. Wouldn’t recommend.
It’s a good place to eat in this cold weather. Also it’s an affordable AYCE All You Can Eat Hotpot joints where you literally can order off the menu as much as you need. Basically food wise, soup base wise and ingredients wise they are great. Make sure you come with an empty stomach. Worth visiting.
It's definitely a good place for experienced hot pot munchers, or go with someone that knows their way around. Otherwise you may wait awhile and be discouraged from the potential delay in service.Food: 5/5
Absolutely delightful. Friendly staff, good variety of options, broth was delicious, and the meat was excellent quality. I was immediately impressed with the portion size as well, two big trays of beef in one order! They have a very reasonable price for the experience as well. We had the ten year signature spicy and wild mushroom broth. The wild mushrooms was deep and rich with a good strong garlic undertone. The signature spicy was hot as blazes but never really pushed us over the edge on our heat tolerance. As well as being very fragrant and robust in flavour, unlike other places where the spicy broth is just that. Spicy. I've had hot pot in other restaurants here in the city for roughly the same price here in the city. And no one else gives the quality and value that Morals did today.
Tried hot pot for the first time here at this restaurant. I found it very easy to order as the waitress helped explain the menu. After we ordered our first round we did not get served anymore. I basically had to get up and chase a employee down to ask if we could place our second order. Once we got to order it. He brought out 2 out of 6 dishes requested. I would of just thought for the price your spending they could at least come and check up on me. Just sucked watching everyone get served and brought out dish after dish. Other then that. It was a alright first experience for hot pot. I would just be trying a different location next .
I’m writing this while I’m seated here. I’ve Waited over 20 minute to get seated for our reservation we planned. Got seated and no one came to take our order. We went to the servers directly and placed handed our order in. In return we got half the food we ordered after 20 more minutes, as well as we didn’t receive our meats we ordered at the start. We had to grab our glasses from a dishwasher tray near the kitchen, just so we can have ourselves something to drink. We didn’t get any plates or any bowls to go with our soup. Everyone else is getting handed and taken care of, no noticed us. I went out and found the manger and he helped me right away. Pushed our food up right away and offered discount. I really do appreciate that, since he looked like he was stressed and possibly under staffed. But after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes, I could finally cook my food. This was for my partners birthday and I wanted it to be nice since she loves these kind of restaurants. It just sad on how we were not treated or served well. I appreciate the manager and what he did to help us. So maybe in the future I will try again because of his hard work, and maybe I’ll change my review. As for now this is how I feel, and I wish to let the staff and customers know how my experience was. To add to it, the manager was very nice and genuine. Because of that and how he helped us, I will come and try his food again. I don’t know his name but thank you for helping us.
The food is delicious!!! Hot pot is such a fun experience to share with friends and family. Outside of that the staff here are SO friendly and helpful. It was clear they really want you to have a great experience.
WORST HOT POT EVER! We got a lot of looks in this restaurant. The service was awful. We ordered items and waited for a long period of time only to be told they didn't have those items. We sat there for over 2 hours waiting for food and we still left starving! Worst place ever! Sauce bar was empty, and the beef had bone shards in it! This scared us off to never come back. Later that night we got food poisonings. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST
