Chef Song’s Chinese Restaurant

Chef song is the best chef I ever meet. Love the food there, last night we was ordered the party tray for our family. General Tso’s Chicken. This was the best chicken I ever try!!!! Next time when you want to eat something, you could show them pictures. Their price was affordable and reasonable.

Ordered through skip, and the delivery came within the estimated time. I think next time I will order from the entree menu, not the "entree a la carte" menu. I wasn't sure of the difference but now I think I know. Song's chicken, ginger beef, and sweet and sour pork were all okay, the shanghai noodle was a bit dry but I think maybe they were not made to order because I ordered a la carte. Please correct me if I am wrong! I am sure the food here is much better than I experienced this time. I like that they didn't use Styrofoam boxes, and they even included a little snack for free which was very nice of them. EDIT: Thank you for updating your information!

Went for Chinese on a whim and enjoyed the buffet Friday night. The reason for three stars was nothing for us tasted that great..in the same breath nothing was bad. The service was great, but we will probably not swing by again. Maybe it was just different because it's buffet and depending how busy it is, food can get cold. Not too sure. Still an establishment that would be worth a shot if your going for the first time.

Got the honey/garlic chicken & the chicken fried rice with ginger beef. Ordered fortune cookies but they did not come with it which was disappointing. Overall the food was pretty good and flavourful, Although my fried rice had barely any egg or chicken in it. The honey and garlic chicken was amazing.

Chef Song has THE best food in the city! We have ordered so many different dishes and they have ALL been exceptional, very authentic and the staff go above and beyond! Excellent customer service and THE best Chinese food our City has to offer! Thank you Chef Song for having THE best food and THE best service!

I ordered on Good Friday, 3 days ago, I realize it was going to be busy and I was fine with that...I got my food 2 hours later, like I said, I understand it was busy, I'm not complaining. First time ordering from here, I liked it, it was good, I did order the Szechuan Beef and got ginger beef instead, maybe they were out, once again I'm not complaining. I got free wontons with my order cause I guess I was over a certain amount, but there was no meat in them pork and I found the sweet and sour sauce to be tasteless and I got another container of like broth? I don't know what that was for but it tasted like nothing. I would order again from here and try some other things.

Decided to leave our comfort zone and try something different. We were very pleasantly surprised! The place is clean, staff is kind and courteous and the buffet was delicious! It’s a cozy little whole in the wall, but that’s what we loved about it…we will definitely be returning!

We ordered from Chef Song restaurant for the first time tonight. The items were flavourful and the vegetables were very fresh. Portions were generous and prices were reasonable. We’ll definitely order from here again!

Went there lastnight to try their buffet. Not very good selection, the food was cold. The food was not good, was very bland, and didn't have any flavor. They only had paper plates and plastic cutlery too, which was very odd. My partner got food poisoning a shortwhile after we got home. Will never go back or order from here!

I have ordered from there before and food was very good, but not for a while. This time the food was dissapointing. Deluxe lo mein was basically all noodles. Probably a tablespoon of meat,the 3 shrimp. A couple of slices of mushrooms. Overwhelming taste was oil not the black bean garlic that was my choice. We had the deluxe singapore noodles. Again about a tablespoon of meat . Did have a curry taste but if these were deluxe I wonder about the reg versions. Almost 14.00 per dish for basically noodles. We won't go back . Not sure what changed but its not the same
