Mootz Eye Clinic

I have been using Mootz Eye Clinic for several years since moving to Le Sueur. I have always been happy to have my eye care needs met at Mootz Eye Clinic! Dr. Jeff and the office staff are helpful and usually go above and beyond to make me comfortable and get the right fit for contacts. A person might be able to get contacts or glasses cheaper online or from a big eye care chain, but nothing beats great care and service!

Recently I was in the need of glasses repair and contact correction. I went to Mootz Eye Care for HELP! First, I sought the assistance of Joyce. I handed her a bag of glasses parts thinking these parts would need to be sent out for repair or order new ones. In a short period of time, Joyce appears from the back repair room with my glasses ready to wear. She is AMAZING! Second, I sought the help of Dr. Jeff. You see I love my contacts and since starting my eye care with Mootz I have always had very clear and excellent comfort with my contacts. This had changed in the last few weeks. After a discussion and eye exam, Dr. Jeff quickly determined that my eyes had indeed improved and my contacts were too strong. With my new contacts in, I could not have been happier. My family has used Mootz Eye Care for many years and have always been satisfied with the staff and their ability to problem solve especially as our eyes change with age and activity. I have been going to Mootz Eye Clinic in Le Sueur for many years. I love the service and the friendly atmosphere. Whether you are there for an eye exam, help picking out new glasses, or finding a new brand of contacts the staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr. Jeff is excellent! His exams are fast, efficient and thorough. He is very honest in his opinions and has never steered me wrong. He is an expert in picking out which brand of contacts one should be wearing and will do whatever it takes to find a brand that is most comfortable for you. The ladies in the office are amazing at fixing any issues with your glasses. I cannot count the number of times they have rescued or fixed my glasses on a walk in basis within only a few minutes. I love Mootz Eye Clinic and will travel from far or near to have them help me. Thank you for all the wonderful service!

I thought Mootz Clinic had integrity. I was wrong. My family had been going there for many years and it was generally satisfactory, but once a hiccup occurred, their actions were rude, inflammatory and dishonorable. While I won't go into detail here, I've given it much calm thought and can no longer support Mootz clinic. Their lack of customer service and attention to detail is appalling, both from one of the doctors and select staff. I am greatly disappointed to lose this conveniently close relationship. Sometimes we make sacrifices to support local business as it's what keeps the engine of community running. But we can only go so far in support when a business gouges its customer in price and insults them in action. Shame on you Mootz Clinic.
